Mountain Mike's Pizza — Restaurant in Chino

Have been here a number of times now and I just feel it gets better every time I go. Today was no exception. The clean look in the store makes it nice to come to also the wonderful smells coming from the kitchen. They were just cleaning up with the lunch buffet which happens Monday thru Friday from 11am to 2 pm. The staff member came over with a friendly attitude and took our order. We started our order with and order of garlic sticks with cheese. There is 12 nice size pieces with a nice garlic flavor and not overly cheesy and came with a nice cup of the pizza sauce to dip them in (actually the cup of pizza sauce came with at least two cups). We then added two large pizzas, the first was the specialty pizza called Pike's Peak. This is an all meat combination loaded with mounds of pepperoni, sausage, beef, salami, lingucia and ham. The second pizza consisted of pepperoni, ham and mushrooms. Both pizzas we're loaded with a load of toppings. The pizzas were very tasty and filling they are never worried about you going home hungry and usually you go home with leftovers which our just as good the next day. The slices are a nice size and you can see the pleasure they put into each pizza. If you looking for good pizza this is definitely a great place to go and enjoy the atmosphere and great food you...

Good pizza, but shamefully management representation. Been ordering here for little over a year now. We get 2 pizzas a month... Not any more. I'm bit embarrassed I gave any business to them.

Last 2 "sizzling bacon" pizzas ordered on different days, both missing an ingredient (green onion). 1st time my family let it go. 2nd time however as kids were nagging us to magically make green onions appear, I decided to call. Mountain Mike's job was to make matters better, not worse. They asked me to bring the pizza everyone had sat down and dished to eat... They wanted everyone to stop eating and bring it back so they can discard it and remake it. Wow! I respect idea of remaking pizza, but let's take away the pizza made in error and further inconvenience the customer. Anyways, we'll take business elsewhere.

UPDATE (4/2/2022) - they replied asking me to reach out to them... NO ONE IN 2 WEEKS RETURNED CALL OR AN EMAIL I SENT THEM. Horrendous leadership and follow through. This business needs to move out of their store fronts and make the space available by business owners/teams that actually care.

So there are two main issues at this store. The first is that the app never seems to work properly.

This might actually be an issue across multiple stores. Currently when using the app whenever I try to apply a coupon I get the error "Only one coupon can be in use at a time". I don't have any coupons applied and it won't let me apply any because of this error. The whole reason to use the app is that the prices are high and the coupons make it semi-bearable. With the app not working and no other source of coupons it is hard to justify the price.

The second main issue is staffing. There are never enough staff and the turnover rate seems to be astronomical. Today I arrived on a Saturday afternoon and I saw only two staff. One working front and one in the kitchen. This is just insane for a a Saturday. No wonder the turnover here astronomical. I'd leave too if I never had enough support.

Despite all this, somehow the food remains really good. So yeah food is excellent but management really needs to fix...
