Pho Island — Restaurant in Chino

ABSOLUTELY DISGUSTING ! Came here last Friday on February 9 about 5:30 PM. I ended up getting sick so I have not been able to Yelp this, first off we have been a loyal customer to this place for over five years and February 9 was the last time we will ever be here, my husband and myself and three of our children are out to dinner when my young son seven years old pulled something out of his soup attached are the pictures I couldn't even figure out what it was at first and I was stunned. I called the waitress over still confused I asked what the heck is this? And with a distressed face, she replied oh my gosh oh my gosh i so sorry I so sorry with her accent and said cook cut his finger and put that around it. I was mortified I was grossed out I was pissed off and then she said I can give another soup. I said no we don't want anything I said where is your manager and then she showed me the sign which I have pictured and you can see below I emailed three times no response, this is absolutely disgusting and gross. We've been sick, sick to our stomach we will never be back at this establishment again!!! For them to not even respond back to me, is even more disgusting! I've already left messages with the food health inspection of Chino there was literally blood on this bandage wrapped in whatever...

Disclaimer, the food was great. I ordered the Ox Tail Pho and it was fantastic, however this review is based on the service and experience. The server seemed to be on attack mode when I stepped inside the door, but didn't attack the Asian man who came in at the same time I did. We both came in at 8:30pm. They closed at 9pm. Mind you there were people still inside so I asked if I could still eat, and the server gave me the most annoyed look and gave me such an attitude about how I needed to hurry up, but not to that Asian man who was welcomed and who he let eat in peace. It was comical.

Another associate saw how he was talking to me and she asked "Do you guys know each other?" I said he didn't, to which point she said "Oh I thought you guys knew each other by how he was talking to you, I'm new here so I didn't know." Wow so the horrible service even took her aback! So I called the guy back over to order a side of eggrolls, he obliged but took the menu and tossed it to the side and sighed heavily under his breath. I couldn't help but to laugh because I had my friend on my phone who heard a lot of the exchange, and she was so offended, she said she will never visit.

Crazy experience. I guess if you aren't one of them, you won't...

Lady at register today was rude when I ordered my food I asked for the meat to be cooked due to me being pregnant then all she said was 17 dollars and I said okay as I was trying to hand her my card she repeats her self 17 dollars I said yes again and I said meat cooked please because I wanted to make sure she heard me again I’m pregnant then she just throws me my card back instead of handing it to me nicely then she says sign and I was just looking around because the receipt wasn’t even printed yet and she’s like sign not even a please or a smile but she was smiling at everyone else as they came in to pick up their food and again throws my receipts and I said thank you once I signed it, as I got home the meat was not COOKED! I Was upset because I had to cook it myself after paying for it to be cooked and I told her twice that means she never cared she even saw that I was pregnant I forgot to take photos of the meat but here is the bag that it came in you can see the blood that the meat was raw and they forgot to give me lime and the jalapeños which is my favorite part when adding it to the pho, food was good, service was not great the only one that was nice was a young skinny lady that works there as well...
