If you care what hotel you stay try to avoid Chino Motel 6. Stayed (lived) there most of the time from June of 2021 until September 27, 2022. Spending thousands of dollars and hated almost everyday I was there. Only stayed because I had two dogs, worked in Chino and my last 32 years I owned my home here. On Monday September 27, my day started at 11:50 AM being waken by one of the hotels maids opening my door asking me are you leaving? My last encounter that day with the hotel Manager allowing me to stay on same room for another three days (already had extended my stay online reservations the night before). With her last comments to me being "You need to check out by 11:00 AM on Monday and you will not be allowed to stay here again. She did not give me a reason! I will say a lot happened between being waken and that conversation with the manager. After my startled wake up, I first discovered my wallet was missing. Was on my bed when I went to bed, as I used one of my cards to make reservations for Three more nights before I fell asleep. The one card that I used was still on bed and so was cell phone that was used for reservation (no wallet). Missing was wallet and also the lady I was staying with gone. Call her immediately, her response " I went to my mom's house after you fell asleep, I don't know where your wallet is, you must have misplaced it". Started a frantic search for wallet only to be interrupted about 10 minutes into search by hotel employee telling me I need to go to office, as I need to change rooms so they could clean the room I was staying in and already had reserved and paid for before falling asleep the night before. I didn't go to office, Im still looking for wallet! For the next hour I searched room and everything in that room for wallet, while hotel employees interrupted me about every 10 minutes telling me to go to office and move out of room. I finally got so mad, I called the police not about the missing wallet, but about a hotel that didn't have the decency to allow me the time to search for it and come to the reality that it was stolen. Police came started questing me , their thinking and now mine is my lady friend took my wallet. After police talked to hotel office, I was called to see manager, this is when she informed me I could stay in same room but wouldn't be allowed to stay anymore after the three nights I already paid for. Yes I asked for her reasons and she wouldn't give one. I thought I had been a very good guest, certain I paid good money for a long time. Only thing I can say is, if you want to stay at this hotel, you move to another room when...
Read moreWe booked this place after searching for a convenient place to stay in LA during our trip from 7th through 10th September. The pictures looked like every other Motel 6 we have stayed at. So, we trusted the pictures since we have stayed in countless Motel 6 locations around the US, and they met all our needs and were very clean. We do not believe that this location is suitable for any human being as this was one of the worst experiences we had in our lives. We checked in on September 8th around 12:45 am after arriving at Ontario, CA airport and we were given a room that was not even cleaned. There was dirt on the floor, the room smelled so bad, the walls had some weird yellow stuff, the tub had some brown stains, there was a huge nail on top of the toilet, and it was not up to any living conditions. However, we had no choice but to stay because it was late at night. We then went and requested another room, and we were given a room with two beds. We made up our minds to stay till morning so we could go and find another place. However, we couldn’t even sleep on the beds, it was so itchy that we did not know if it was bed bugs or not. I was up till 4 a.m. and my wife was scared to stay at the hotel due to it being sketchy as well. We started noticing our skin getting red as it was so itchy and then I saw a small cockroach on the sink glass. We left around 4.45 a.m. without checking out. We did not check out because we did not know whether we could find a place or not at 4.45 am as many hotels do not offer early check-ins. On the way we called too many places, and it was so expensive due to being it’s a Friday. We ended up near LAX and decided to give it a try at Motel 6 near LAX. We had no choice but to pay $404 for two nights. I hope you understand our frustration. Motel 6 in LAX is amazing and nothing to complain about, but we paid $190 to Motel 6 Chino and $404 to LAX just to stay 2 nights because we were left without any options at that point. We planned and booked the Chino location, but we had to pay a crazy amount to stay at LAX and spend our whole time in LA. Then I drove back to Chino and checked out. Front desk lady was so nice and I understand that she has nothing to do with the hotel...
Read moreThis location is not great. The usual complaints: I walked into my non-smoking room and was greeted with smoke odor. The usual hairs were in the sheets, towels, and bathtub. The bed was a coil spring job from the late 80’s. Thin walls. People moving furniture all the time. Every time someone closes a door, my headboard shakes. The not so common problems this round were: The maid left the previous guest’s boogers on the nightstand. The light in the bathroom flickers and flashes so much I am afraid it will catch fire. The toilet runs every few minutes and the water pipes are really loud. Gnats, gnats, and more gnats. This motel attracts the lowlifes. The people upstairs were having a party with their kids jumping, running, and yelling outside late into the night. Some guy was relaxing in his car just outside my door listening to his bass thump. Somebody in the parking lot was playing with car alarms. It was almost midnight… Are most people here that inconsiderate? Really? I asked Mr. Bass to turn it down. I think he was stoned. I decided to call the front desk before I called the cops. Tip: To get the phone to work, you hold it upside down and tap it on the table so you can get a dial tone. Don't lay it down until after the call or you will get cut off. The front desk guy was great, he was professional while he asked everyone to quiet down. They stayed quiet for about 5 minutes after that. I fell asleep later from exhaustion. The icing on the cake was waking up to the dumpster truck at 6am. That must have woken the drunken construction workers also. Because then it was flushing toilets, loud water pipes, doors slamming, more car alarms, yelling for people to hurry up, come on, toss me down that thing I forgot, loud mufflers, revving engines, and even a no-muffler. That day I noticed lots of people roaming the parking lot, some looking into my car windows. Some dude, only in pajama bottoms, beat on my door and said, let me in! When he saw me he said, oh $#!@ wrong room! It's not all bad… A nice shopping center and several restaurants next door. The small pool...
