I very much liked this pizza. I moved to California from the east coast 21 years ago and I have been largely disappointed with the pizza in this state. Most of the places labeled as "good" or "great" are just about average. Now don't get me wrong, average pizza is still better than most other foods. But in those 21 years, the only times I can say I was actually IMPRESSED by the pizza can be narrowed down to three times. Ciro's in San Diego's gaslamp, Bella's in riverside on Arlington, and New York pizzeria in chino. It smells great from the moment I walked in with my mask on, the pizza cooked pretty quickly (which tells me a lot, like they have properly heated ovens!) and as I drove around looking for a place to stop and eat because I was about 30 miles from home (also letting the pizza cool!) it filled the car with a wonderful pleasing aroma. I finally pulled into a parking lot and had my first bite. Two slices out of 8, saving much of it for later. It was very impressive. I thought "maybe I'm just super hungry, everything tastes better hungry". Well 2 hours later, I had a cold slice. Again, great, and I typically do not like cold pizza. Now, all that said, the slice I had was their "normal" pepperoni pizza, not the "New York thin" style, so I have yet to try that style, but if it's just as good as the regular pie, it should be great too. (Update: I’ve since had the New York style. It’s my favorite now from them!) Also, staff was super friendly, and as I waited outside, could see into the kitchen, when my pizza was ready, the guy behind the glass motioned to me to come back in.

Well, let me tell you I’ve been to a lot of pizza joints and this one here is among the best, this is my first time here I got here kinda late on Sunday night almost closing, but they take orders up until 9 and we sat down and enjoyed our pepperoni, pineapple olive pizza with wedge potatoes. I drank a glass of craft trumer which was OK seeming I drink Stella’s or Sapporo. This establishment has been around a long time 40 years this year and they do a lot for the community Little League, Pop Warner football baseball. They also have specials for churches and large groups. I was surprised by how big the structure is, there are plenty of tables and games to satisfy your needs. The customer service is excellent. The guys that were working that night were friendly and courteous and that’s a kind of custom service that makes customer come back for more. There’s plenty of parking with the handicap stalls close by (they could be closer). We enjoyed our evening and will be back for sure.

Ambiance: We randomly found this place on Google and almost missed it when we got there. Tucked into a shopping center, this place is way bigger than you'd imagine. Very much so gives you an old-school pizza place and a baseball treat after a game. Very nostalgic, loved it. Service: We were able to take our time while ordering, relooking over the menu. When we finally ordered, it came out fast and fresh. Food: I wouldn't consider this New York pizza, but it's delicious! Not too greasy, flavorful, and the tomato sauce was amazing! It's a top contender for some of the best pizza I've had. We preferred the sausage and pepperoni side, though both sides were good. Will absolutely be back.

I'll try to make this short!

A couple of days ago, I ordered delivery through Uber eats. Unfortunately, the driver for Uber eats wasn't mindful. The pizza arrived in horrible condition as it had slid to one side of the box and clumped up in a corner. It appeared the driver dropped it and put it back in the box. There was even dog hair and other debris on the pizza.

HOWEVER, despite the screw up from the Uber eats driver, the team at New York Pizzeria made the situation right!

I called them after receiving the pizza from Uber and explained the situation. I was outside of their delivery area and they still helped me out and delivered a BRAND NEW PIZZA (I paid of course).

I can not tell you how amazed I am by their customer service. It was freaking impeccable!!! Not only was the service top level, the pizza was AMAZING!!! My goodness, it was a memorable pizza. I can only say that about one other pizza place and that is in my home town in Whittier. I moved to Chino Hills just over a year ago and I finally found my go to pizza joint. NEW YORK PIZZERIA, THANK YOU FOR THE PHENOMINAL SERVICE AND OUTSTANDING PIZZA! I'll...
