BJ's Grill - Burgers and More! — Restaurant in Chipley

Wife and I have ate here several times and never been disappointed. The burgers are big and cooked perfectly for us other food also very tasty. Only fault we find is the wife had fish a couple times and it’s not what she expected BUT with that said it’s tough to compete with fresh fish restaurants 30 mile south and closer to the coast. The owners are the friendliest people you could ever meet, she waits tables and he cooks. Definitely worth a stop if your in the area you won’t be disappointed. Update: this is the 7oz burger we had today it’s absolutely huge another patron at table behind us ordered the Brandon Burger which is double this, we heard him comment to waitress when it arrived. Had a pretty decent cheese burger on a toasted bun which was pretty good but couldn't get just plain ol'e crinkle cut fries so I had to get spicy ones. They'll cook your good sized 7oz or bigger burger the way you want it "but", you had better hit the bank before you go in. Just the 7oz cheese burger and fries was just shy of $17.00 + tip you're talking $20.00. Waitress was very nice and friendly but, unless you can afford 20 bucks on just a cheese burger & "spicy" fries without having a heart attack when the check comes, I'd definitely recommend going someplace else for lunch (they only serve breakfast and lunch & close a 2pm). Also, you can bring your service dog in with you so long as he/her is wearing their vest. Last word... be prepared to wait 20 minutes before your burger ever...

Took a big party by to eat the lunch buffet.The pot roast was amazing! As was everything else.I had asked the lady if i could get a small thing of roast and potatoes to go for supper.Was told it would cost the same price as a whole buffet again.No problem,but not paying 15.00 to get 2 items to go!We came back the next day to eat breakfast.I asked the waitress how i could get gravy and biscuits with eggs and sausage without it costing a 100 bucks,well i was kind of joking but not wanting to spend 20.00! The owner who was sitting with his buddys came by and told us we could go elsewhere,food had went up, which we all know! We went ahead and ate and left.Too bad i guess he chose to handle things this way.We all never went back to eat again.Oh well,we all grown ups and run things...
