Cotijas Taco Shop — Restaurant in Chula Vista

Got one breakfast burrito and one flaming burrito… was not impressed with either. Requested no cheese or sour cream on the breakfast burrito only to find fragments of cheese inside the tortilla. Inside the breakfast burrito there was barely any egg and “bacon” was chunks of ham that tasted like they were 75% sulfites. Ingredients did not taste great though they claim to make everything fresh. Husband complains that all of the sour cream was located in the bottom quarter of the burrito. Prices do not justify this level of quality. Sauces were not good. Wait time was not worth it. Bought a large container of guacamole but it was incredibly watery and full of their lackluster green salsa. It also tasted faintly of cleaning product. Chips were not good. The absolute worst chips and guacamole I have had in San Diego. Would give zero stars, absolutely appalled that we spent over $40 for...

Food is good but service is awful. I placed an online order for the shrimp with carne asada burrito and specifically put no chipotle sauce. I go to pick it up, and the man said Ivanna had already picked it up. I said what do you mean? Obviously I was upset because it took me at least 15 minutes to get there and for him to say that. He looked through all the orders in the back and gave me a burrito that was supposed to be “mine” which didn’t even have my name on it. Cooks were mad because it had the sauce. I just took it because it was not the cooks fault it was the cashiers fault at the front who clearly doesn’t read the specifics customers make. I am sorry management.... but the cashier lady that was there at 10:30am was RUDE!!!! I do hope that lady isn't the manager, that would be horrible! I made a phone order and she didn't even take down my name, just hung up on me. When I arrived to pickup the order, it wasn't even placed. I had to reorder the items for my office luncheon, but decided to just go somewhere else after she rolled her eyes at me.
