Mango Mango Fresh & Healthy — Restaurant in Chula Vista

We were excited about this place because the menu is awesome. Sadly, the service was highly disappointing. We placed our order online and headed over to pick it up. It was supposed to be ready, but when I told them I was there to pick up they said it would be a few minutes, so I sat down to wait. I saw several people walk in, place an order, and walk out with their food. I asked them when my order would be ready and they said they were working on the salads. Fair enough, so I sat back down to wait. Several more customers walked in, placed an order, and walked out with their food. I watched them get several orders wrong. After waiting for 30 minutes, 45 after placing my order, I asked about it. They said they were busy. I commented about those that came in and placed orders after me. Again they just said that they were busy. I understand busy, but they clearly value walk in orders more then online ones. if they don't want online orders they shouldn't have it available. What an incredibly pleasant place! I was in town from Temecula and ran some errands with my sister. It seemed everywhere to eat was closed after we got a coffee. I was in need of something fresh, light and healthy. I Googled places to eat and saw this catchy name; I checked the menu of course. Everything sounded what I was looking for! I called to make sure they were open. The gentleman that answered had an inviting voice and said they were open! I Google mapped immediately, taking that 2 minute drive excitingly. Walking in is such a happy vibe, not to mention the smell 🤤 no kidding it’s fresh. The menu gives lots of options at great prices (an açaí bowl near me here in Temecula is $13). I got the tuna sandwich and loved it! I do suggest to add a little more mayo, salt and pepper. The amount of lettuce and tuna is perfect though! They aren’t stingy with their ingredients. Mango Mango Freshly and healthy is a gem in a secluded area of Bonita Road (Chula Vista) For the reason that their food is natural with a great ambiance of different flavors: Sandwiches liked the turkey sandwich in a whole grainy. They have excellent breakfast menu, for the most part the Pesto Omelet is a delight!! Mango’s juices are great in any occasion. Smoothies are awesome! Especially the Banana and pineapple, would filled you up for sure. The salads are also great liked the Mediterranean, really natural. The place in itself is accommodating and pleasant. Mango Mango’s customer service it’s outstanding. Samanta, Alejandra, Mariana, Karime are kind and pleasant anytime of the day. Lastly, their regular coffee is out of this world!
