Yum! The girlfriend and I decided to grab some brunch whilst out and about running errands and we settled upon Dolche Cafe. It is extremely small but that does not detract from the experience at all. The service was great and the food delectable. Our server did make a mistake with our order but was quick and professional to rectify the issue. The food was so good and I can’t wait to come back. Update: So my fiancé and I decided to come back. While the food was still top notch I would advise you to ask about the cost of your food. We asked for coffee and the server didn’t ask any follow up questions, then comes the check and we were served the JUMBO which of course is their most expensive option. I wish they were more transparent with their prices and options which is why I changed my original rating from 5 stars to 4.

I got divorciados (Mexican divorced eggs) chilaquiles and it looked and tasted great! The coffee is probably the best dark roast I’ve ever had. (I don’t generally like dark roast.) Props to the employee who remade my matcha boba drink to make it less sweet, but the tapioca pearls were crumbly and not chewy. I wouldn’t get boba tea here again, can go to sindis snack shack like a mile away. Every drinking cup or glass they gave me appeared dirty with debris clinging to the rim. Also it’s a little expensive— breakfast plate, black coffee, and a boba tea w an 18% tip was $33.

Nestled in the rear of a liquor store lies a wonderful Mexican restaurant. The restaurant is small but very busy. The food is excellent, and the atmosphere is fun and vibrant. Just be sure you don't park in the 3 parking areas of the liquor store. They will immediately tow you.

Dolce Cafe has potential but needs improvements.

As you walk in, you get coffee shop vibes. It’s small but has a cute atmosphere. You sit yourself. There was one waitress for all of the six tables. The waitress took around 5 minutes to acknowledge us and give us our menus.

I ordered the jefe de jefes plate, which included a side of chilaquiles, an omelet, beans, and potatoes. For my chilaquiles, I ordered green salsa, and for my omelet, I ordered the “El Perron,” which has turkey breast, roasted peppers, mushrooms, and jack cheese topped with a chipotle creamy sauce. To drink, I ordered a hot mazapán latte.

Food: 3/10 Coffee: 2/10

Although Dolce cafe gives a cute atmosphere, the food, in my opinion, needs a little something. My food arrived a little cold. The green sauce was too sour; it needed that perfect balance between spicy and sourness. It was missing that spicy kick. The sauce was too watery, and the tortilla chip was too soggy. The tortilla chip did not absorb the sauce well. My side of beans was a little bland. It needed a pinch of salt. I did notice the beans had a hint of spearmint flavor, which I found interesting. The potatoes had a strong garlic flavor but yet lacked flavor. The omelet was okay, but the chipotle sauce was below average. It needed more chipotle flavor; the cream overpowered the chipotle.

I want to begin by saying that I like my coffee to have a nice caffeine flavor and a hint of sweetness if I get a latte. However, the mazapan latte lacked caffeine flavor. It tasted bland—it almost felt like I was drinking warm milk with tiny pieces of peanuts. I didn’t taste the mazapán at all, so I decided to ask for more flavor. So, at least I felt like I was drinking warm milk with mazapán —it didn’t taste like I expected, so I ended up not drinking it.

I hope you find this review as a form of constructive criticism. I'm all about evolving; this place has potential but...

First and last time coming to Dolce,Super excited to try this new breakfast place... made a reservation on their website . When we check In we got told the online reservation site is not working. It suddenly stopped working during Father's day weekend. Give us 25 minutes and your table will be ready. An hour and 15 minutes went by and our table was not ready. I was a little hesitant to leave but we had already been there for almost 2 hours. When we finally got seated after 2 hours waiting we ordered our drinks. Our cafes de Olla were cold and got told we were lucky their was left over coffee from the morning mind you it was 1pm when we got seated and the expresso machine had enough for today and couldn't do any expresso drinks and after waiting 20 minutes for our drinks. When it was time to order our food we were really excited to see the dishes to just be disappointed that the items we ordered are not available anymore. With sarcasm the waiter said if you want to get quality service you need to come in at hours 8-9am when everything is fresh to order. Like 15 minutes later our food got to our table it was cold, not fresh, and soggy. The waiter told us that the Nutella crepe with strawberries and bananas has Nutella inside the crepe and he assured us there is Nutella inside but, when it came there was no Nutella in it. Over he tried to make it up but the disappointment was bigger. Do not recommend going here. There was also open creamers in the basket and trash on the floor of our table and no utensils or napkins. I also asked what type of bread they offered he mentioned wheat bread and they gave me sour dough bread instead a little confused. At the they need a bigger location and more prepared staff members. If your restaurant is full no tell customers it's a 25 minute wait when you are depending on others to eat fast and go. Everyone is taking pictures but it's just not...

I normally don’t give low scores . However when money spent isn’t felt to be given the value for what it costs I need to be honest . The beans felt like caned or not homemade. The birria had too much fat excess on it that I had to scrape the fat off before I can eat it. By the time I scraped fat I was left with in my opinion not much just pure meat . I didn’t like that . I originally ordered a hibiscus drink . Now I’m going to try to explain the taste about the drink that I didn’t like and why . If you have ever bought powder flavor “artificial hibiscus “ then you’ll know the steps in order to make it is adding sugar to the powder with water . This is not the way I like it . I DONT like the Artificial flavor of hibiscus. I can give you example when you buy whole leaf real flower of hibiscus it is bitter tasting with a hint of floral taste. If you want to add sweetness then adding honey pure honey or even adding a homemade lemonade will help. Either way I’m trying to explain this because if I’m going to pay for a drink or food I expect food and drinks to not be made from a can or powder artificially. I know not everyone cares or has a taste bud to know the difference. I can tell the difference because I choose to eat things predominantly the pure natural way . Hope my explanation means well for you to understand why I gave it this rating .

Also you’ll need to find street parking or park at the Costco parking lot across...
