I don't usually like to leave bad reviews, but our trip to Dunkin Donuts this morning wound up with us driving home angry that we wasted $40. We ordered a hot machiatto with oat milk and sweetener, an iced coffee with an expresso shot, along with two avocado toasts, two sides of the sweet and peppered bacon, two breakfast sandwiches, two ham and cheese tortilla roll ups, two tater tots, and two donuts. We were missing half of our order and my hot machiatto was not prepared as I ordered it, I could tell it was milk and not oat milk. The bacon orders were missing, we were missing the tater tots, the donuts were both the wrong ones. We paid extra for the oat milk and got plain milk, and it makes me question whether we even had the expresso shot that we paid extra for.
The workers clearly did not check the ticket order and just poorly fumbled through it all with very unfriendly service. The young man said he didn't want to keep going back and forth to get the food that we were missing. We were appalled that this was the response. No apology for screwing up our order, but instead, making us feel like we, the customers, were a burden to him for coming back to inform him that our order was missing several items and had incorrect food. This was not the first time that our oder has been missing items or had incorrect food given to us. This morning we thought, "Let's give it one more try, maybe they just had an off day last weekend."
But today proved that the service is CONSISTENTLY poor and the workers had very bad attitudes. Last weekend we even witnessed one of the employees come out from the back and lock the front door during business hours at around 9 AM when there were only 4 customers inside, so we wondered what was going on. Numerous customers that tried to go in to order food wound up just walking away and leaving after being locked out for a few minutes with nobody letting them in.

On multiple occasions, I have specifically requested decaf, only to witness or later discover that my coffee was made with regular coffee instead. While I understand mistakes can happen, especially during busy times, this is not the first time my order has been mishandled.
Today, I went through the drive-thru during a slow period, thinking the likelihood of an error would be minimal. However, despite the calm environment, I was once again given regular coffee instead of decaf. This mistake has caused me significant distress, as I suffer from heart palpitations and arrhythmia that require me to avoid caffeine entirely. As a result of this error, I had to take medication I otherwise wouldn’t have needed and cancel all my plans for the day to allow my body to recover.
Please understand that when customers request decaf, it’s not out of convenience or preference but often due to medical necessity. We trust your establishment to fulfill this need correctly, and this repeated failure has eroded that trust. While I could make coffee at home, I should be able to safely enjoy a treat from your business without fearing for my health.
I hope you will take my concerns seriously and implement measures to ensure that decaf orders are handled correctly every time. This is a matter of safety and well-being for your customers, and I urge you to address it immediately.

Read morePlaced an order (1st time with Dunkin) on the app to pick up this morning. I had an appointment and wouldn't be home to wake my 4-year-old, so I wanted to bring back a treat. I ordered 2 donuts and some munchkins. Went to pick up the order about 10 minutes later. Walked in, place was clean, gave my name for the pick-up. Guy working the counter seemed confused, i guess, or maybe not all there. Got my order and left. I checked it in my car and found they had thrown the donuts into the bag upside down so all of the frosting was stuck to each other and the bottom of the bag. The munchkins were not the variety I ordered at all either. I had no extra time to go back in and get this fixed, so I did my best to flip them over and cranked the ac on the floor to hopefully stop the melting process they were already in.
