Ok so I want to begin by saying I hate leaving bad reviews. I would love to leave this place a 5 star shining review that helps the public and the establishment as it is local and we try to support local businesses. Unfortunately our experience was really unfortunate. I looked over the menu and ordered a carry out after being put on hold twice. I wanted the 14”combination but accidentally said supreme (which isn’t even on the menu.) Instead of letting me know they don’t have what I asked for (by accident) they went ahead and gave me a deluxe. I was told 30-35 mins and headed in to pay 30 + mins. I payed and thought it seemed a bit pricey but not crazy for these days. I waited 50 mins for my food then opened box to see if my sauces I ordered were in the box. One was missing but I also noticed there was olives all over my pizza. I despise olives. Upon rechecking the menu I realized had what happened and gave them the benefit of the doubt and figured I could pick them off. I got home 30 mins away then my wife noticed there was ham a lot of ham on the pizza. She doesn’t eat pork so was mortified. At that point I have an empty stomach an angry wife and a pizza neither of us wanted. Not to mention the breadsticks were just sad. Pinky thin. Nothing like pictures. I called to try to get this fixed and after several holds and a few apologies I was told it didn’t matter I asked for something they didn’t carry. They claimed people order supreme and get the deluxe. Well dang I guess my night is ruined. No pizza replacement but she very politely told me she could replace my overpriced bread pencils. No thank you I just will never come back and be sure to tell everyone I know of my experience. I hate doing this but I...
Read moreI have lived in Cicero for nearly a year, but I had not made it in to The Pizzeria Hoise until this past Saturday night. I brought my young 11-year-old grand daughter for a special treat. We took advantage of the current special “The Sweatheart Deal” which included two house speciality pizzas, one brownie pizza and a two-liter of your choice.
Known for carry out business, of which there was plenty that might, we settled in to be in house dinners. The atmosphere was quiet , yet the staff was bustling filling many pick-up orders.
Our waitress Lauren did not disappoint. Very attentive and knowledgeable she saw to our every need and answered quite satisfactorily our every question.
We purchased one meat lovers and one vegetable pizza , each with a thin crust dough! Talk about filling and loaded with ingredients….each pizza more than satisfied our hunger and cravings.
The brownie pizza came ever so warm and sweet and tasty. It really hit the spot with my granddaughter and her friend.
Needles to say, I drove away thinking “why hadn’t I stopped in before”? Well, there definitely will not be a long wait before I return to dine in or make my first take-out purchase.
Definitely pizza the way I like it….with very...
Read moreI ordered hot wings, pizza and breadsticks from them on March 30th. The wings were not the usual size due to their shipment errors and they were tough to eat. After calling to inform them they did not disclose a difference in wing size and complaint about toughness they refused to credit our account. They said since we already took them from the building they couldn't do anything about it. I have managed Dominos pizza and Hot Box Pizza, I can tell you this is poor customer satisfaction service. It doesn't make any sense how they couldn't credit the account if they left the building. How do they take in account for delivery errors? Do they tell them the same thing? Do they expect you to eat a wing while in the store to verify the quality is up to par? The customer is always right and if you expect them to return or spread the word on their customer service you make sure they are happy. I've also managed a movie theater, if you have a parent with a screaming toddler they will credit your trip if you cannot stay throughout the whole movie. It really upsets me to see businesses treat their clients in...
