One of the best places for South Indian food. It has a lot more authenticity to the taste than we have had at other places. However, takeaway or home delivery would be better for this place since their ambiance and dine-in service sucks!! Food: We went there a couple of times to try their Dosa, Bisibelabath, Podi Idli and Rasam. What I particularly loved here was their Rasam and Bisibelabath. Rasam was one of the best I had tasted across the US. Bisibelabath was spiced well and was made with ghee, so quite heavy as well. Podi Idli was great - quite spicy and appetizing. Dosa was good - nothing great but nothing bad as well. Ambiance: This place has a very typical restauranty ambiance. While one would expect some good South Indian feel to the place, it doesn't make much effort there. It appeared to me that their major business came from takeaways and home deliveries since there are many Indian families and bachelors living around this area - so it may not have made sense for them to invest much in the ambiance part and rather focus on the food. Staff: The staff was quite good, except once when we arrived close to the closing hours and they were visibly anxious to kick us out past 9PM as they started to turn off some of the lights while we were eating and started moving around, waiting for us to finish the food so that they can clear the plates. Not comfortable with the same, we just got the rest of the food packed and left. Looks like customer service isn't their forte.

Really liked the food. It's not only tasty but homely. It was totally raining outside and I visited this place to have a nice sampler of hot 🔥 pakodas and vadas. And they had totally satisfied my craving...I ordered for a Asst.Platter first which includes potato bajji, crispy vada, paneer bajji, samosa and a stuffed masala vada🤩 They were served with 4 varieties of chutneys and a sambar. My goodness,I was almost full with my appetizer.😄 Then I went for the main course and ordered for my favourite 'Chana Bhatura'.I was surprised by the size of the puri first and then it was so perfectly made and served with onion, lemon and a green chilli on the side.Hmm,pretty good and a kind of north Indian touch😋. Our hunger and the encouraging rain 🌧️ outside made me and my friends to go for another dish and this time we tried Vegetable 🍜 Noodles.I'm personally not so much interested towards noodles but these are so thin and taste wise it was good. I liked them. Price wise they were so budget friendly. And people inside the restaurant were friendly and nice. What's more good than having a good hot food on a rainy day😍Anyone who wish to try, something good and homely in vegetarian, this place is a must go one.✅

I finally got to fulfill one of my wife’s long-awaited requests: dining at Amma’s Kitchen since we moved to Cincinnati, OH in 2019. To my surprise, the restaurant looked much older inside than outside. Despite the less-than-pleasant ambiance, we were excited to see their lunch buffet. They had a wide variety of food, and our favorites were the Vadai, Pongal, and Sambar. For the price, they offered quite a spread of veggies, but the taste was just okay. The desserts were kind of meh. The naan was dry, and the chutneys didn’t hit the mark. My wife ordered filter coffee but was served instant coffee in a fancy Tawara set—what a letdown! On the bright side, the staff were super friendly, which made the experience a bit better. If you ask me, it was worth the price, but not a treat for the taste buds. They could reduce the number of dishes and improve the quality and taste instead. My wife is happy to have finally checked this off her list but disappointed she won’t be coming back. Oh well, it was worth a try!

Do not visit this place if you seek some hospitality. They treat you like beggers and give rude responses to your questions. Our family had an aweful experience today! We drove for 40 mins to visit this restaurant for Vegetarian Indian Food, As the restaurant is crowded and no one is removing the used plates from the table we handed over the plates to the server. Instead of thanking the customer for helping them, The server aka owner showed her attitude and said, You are supposed to leave the plates on the table it self. When we explained the situation that there no place to add new plates and no one is cleaning. She relentlessly called us to GET OUT FROM THE Restaurant while eating. She didn’t noticed we are with a new born baby and there are children dined-in. We paid for what didn’t eat and walk out from the restaurant with humiliation.

We never ever recommend this restaurant to others and if you are person expects some hospitality and dignity when dine-in…….

LIFE is not just earning money, Service the Human beings is Servicing the GOD. A good restaurant takes care of the customers with dignity and respect.

Advise to the owner of the restaurant: It is very impolite calling some one to leave the Restaurant while in the middle of eating and you know every acion has equal and opposite reaction. It may not be today, But at somepoint in your life you will have to be ready to face these consequences. All the best!!!!

People watching this review. Please advise what kind of actions we can take on these type of Indian restaurant owners!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Response to the owners reply:

Disrespectful to your employees?? What did I do? Asking you to remove clutter on my table? Trying to help you to remove plates by myself, when you were not caring?

I had been to many restaurants in the last 17 years here in states and no where the staff were so rude like that lady which clearly shows how bad her service is towards customers and she shouldn’t be working there! On top of being not polite, she asked us to leave the restaurant in the middle of our lunch and that is the kind of person you are!! Slave!! What a joke? Removing the clutter and doing your job is a slavery ? Bad Ambiance , bad food, Rude behavior, Not only me, numerous customers will never enter in to your restaurant after seeing this.

Legal action for what ?

Asking to do your job, Dealing with your rudeness and questioning your humanity when you asked us to leave in the middle of our buffet and paying full price ?

Dear people, please think twice b4 going here, there are excellent...
