Do not eat here! We drove up from Lexington for my friendâs birthday & they absolutely ruined our night. We arrived around 8:40ish for our 8:30 reservation. We were a little late because we were getting off the road. We had a party of about 10. But that wasnât an issue that we were aware of.
When we sat down, it took well over 10 minutes before we were served just a cup of water. Our server was all over the place and had the worst attitude Iâve ever seen from a server. As a server/bartender for over 5+ years, I have never treated my customers like that.
We were told prior to booking our reservation (3 weeks ago), that we could order from the full menu until 9:30. That was not the case when got there. When we got there our server told us that we could only order appetizers and sides. The âAfter Darkâ menu wasnât available. We tried to be understanding, and respectful. However, our server got ruder as the night went on.
As we ordered things from the appetizer menu like we were told, they still didnât have certain things. They were âoutâ of everything we ordered. The whole process from ordering to receiving our food and cocktails was about an hour and a half or more. Our server kept saying how she was âannoyedâ and âirritatedâ as if it was our fault. She also told us that people who answer the phones donât always know what theyâre talking about??? We werenât rude, or anything. More so, trying to figure out what we COULD eat at that point. We ordered stuff we could and our server would come back saying theyâre out of things we ordered as well! To expect us to pay over $50-70 for our meals that were served in plastic containers is crazy. One of my friends didnât even get her food!
When the âmanagerâ came out, after about 5 minutes of going back and forth, he told us that everything would be comped. Not that there was much to comp in the first place. The server taunted us as we walked out and stated that we were only trying to get free food. Which is absolutely ridiculous, being that my friends and I travel often and are amazing tippers!!
I could say SO MUCH more but Iâll leave it at this ⊠the servers need attitude adjustments and customer service training. The staff is unorganized and rude. The manager was very lax and the overall experience ruined my best friendâs birthday dinner. I will picture my whole meal below. Each container was supposed to be almost $20 a piece. I didnât receive any sides, or anything else I was told I could order.
If I could give zero stars I would. Terrible...

From the moment you walk in, youâre greeted with a warm, inviting ambiance that sets the tone for an unforgettable meal. I kicked off my evening with their Happy Hour Lemon Drops and let me just say, they were perfection in a glass. Refreshing, tart, with just the right amount of sweetness, theyâre the ideal way to unwind after a long day. And at happy hour prices? Even better. These drinks are not just a cocktail; theyâre a mini celebration in a glass.
The Lamb were absolutely stellar. The lamb was cooked to a perfect medium-rare, tender, juicy, and packed with flavor. Each bite melted in my mouth, accompanied by a subtle yet aromatic spice that left me wanting more. The sides and garnish were the perfect complement, rounding out the dish with finesse. Itâs clear the chef knows how to elevate lamb to a whole new level.
For the main course, I opted for the Salmon and wow, was it a showstopper. Flaky and perfectly seared, the salmon was accompanied by a beautifully balanced sauce that added just the right amount of richness without overpowering the delicate fish. The dish was finished off with a vibrant, fresh vegetable medley that provided both texture and color. Itâs rare to find a salmon dish that so expertly showcases the natural flavors of the fish while also offering depth and sophistication. This dish is the epitome of seafood done right.
The service was impeccable ; friendly, attentive, and knowledgeable. I never had to ask for anything, and my serverâs recommendations were spot on. Every detail was considered, from the drink pairings to the timing between courses.
I truly can't recommend Confess What You Crave enough. Whether you're stopping in for happy hour or planning a more elaborate meal, this restaurant delivers both in flavor and experience. I'll definitely be back to confess all...
Read moreI know everyone experiences may vary BUT my experience unfortunately was AWLFUL. The only thing they got right that evening was seating us at our reserved time of 6pm. There was ALOT that happened on this SATURDAY! Let's just say by 830 we still DID NOT have all our food. Nothing came out together and 1 in our party of 6 did not get her food altogether when we left at 9pm. The "Owner" came to our table and said half his kitchen loss power! 2hrs later. BUT they kept seating people. I think they lost us in the madness. By that time the only thing that showed at our table was two pieces of fish and plastic utensils sealed in plastic. No lie, I did not see my lamb chops til 830. They had to go out to purchase Ice. Our water and drinks in small plastic cups had zero ice. That evening was possibly just a bad night for the establishment but was NOT a good look or experience for 6 people who will probably tell six people just how terrible it was. As I cut my chops with a plastic knife, we were offered a "15%" discount. Insult to injury. WE got to do better!!!!!! if you want...
