After my neighbor recommended it I went here almost everyday for lunch for several weeks. (The bread and soups are so fresh and everything is tasty.). But I stopped going because whether it was busy or slow, or I ordered online or in-person, getting food always took FOREVER. One example (and this is one out of several) occurred a few months ago. I called to ask about the soup of the day. The person at the register answered the phone, set it on the counter and I heard her take 10 peopleâs orders before I decided to stay on hold and drive over. By the time I arrived I was still on hold. I got in line, walked up and asked why I was still on hold. The person blushed as it was clear they just didnât want to answer the phone and thought I hung up. (It wasnât because they forgot.)
However, I decided to try again one more time. I went after lunch and before dinner and was the only customer with 5 employees working. It took 35 minutes to pour the soup that was already made and make a small salad to-go. The staff danced to music, sung along and talked amongst each other. I am all for fun at work, and the energy definitely adds to the vibe here, but when a customer is hungry, in a rush or just waiting there for a while please consider speeding things up.
I would start going back more often and it be 5 stars if service was slightly faster. Also, while the prices are high (noted by several others here) I donât mind because unfortunately the cost of everything is high these days. But they will continue to lose regular customers if the pace of service...
Read moreCame here to buy some quick snacks. There was line of 3-4 people who were ordering sandwiches, etc. I stood in this line for a minute or two before seeing a sign hanging over the counter a bit further down, âGrocery - Quick Check Out.â
I went to that register and waited at the counter. I was there about 3 minutes, during which time 2 staff members behind the counter (who appeared not to be busy doing much of anything) actually made eye contact with me a couple of times. One of these actually turned his back to me. I finally asked if I could be checked out. They said I had to go to the front register.
All in all it was fine that I had to go back to the other registerâmy world did not collapse. However, what I DID mind was that the confusion could have been cleared up so much more quickly: no (additional) sign indicated the âgrocery quick check outâ lane was closed (I would not have stood there for 3-4 minutes) AND the staff attempted to help me / direct me only after I finally directly asked them (even though they clearly had seen me standing at the counter. Maybe Iâm new enough that I donât know how things work in here. But what I experienced was poor customer service. Not friendly....

Ordered 2 sandwiches and it wasnât very busy. Stood around waiting with a group of people, everyoneâs food was very slow coming out. I noticed people that ordered after me were getting their food and I kept waiting. I asked where my food was and it turns out they messed up and it had been ready but they made some kind of error. I got my 2 sandwiches just over 30 minutes after ordering.
I ordered the Ruben with the dressing on the side and they messed that up. Not only was there dressing on it, it was absolutely drowning in dressing (see photo). To me thatâs an inedible sandwich, just gross.
I tried calling, but the phone just rang and no one answered. All I really want is my gratuity refunded.
First impressions are everything and this place really dropped the ball.
They have Raid and spaghetti-Os for sale if...
