Drip Coffee Lounge — Restaurant in Cincinnati

After the bars close at 2:30 am on Friday and Saturday morning hundreds descend to Drip Coffee Lounge without regard to parking laws. Driveways are blocked and no parking or stopping signs are ignored.

The deafening beats emanating from vehicles shakes and rattles windows to the point of breaking.

The crowd brings and drinks copious amounts of tequila evident by the sidewalks covered in empty boxes and bottles on the mornings after the crowd leaves the area at 4:30 or 5:00 am.

More concerning, is the gunfire. There is a no concern for the safety of the residents and bullet holes are sure to appear in windows and store fronts each and every night. It's only a matter of time until the media will be reporting on yet another shooting with fatal results.

Camp Washington is on the verge of a significant resurgence with the addition of art galleries, community parks and neighborhood amenities. While still a struggling area, the families who live here deserve a chance to improve their surroundings and lives.

Drip Coffee Lounge has become a detrimental distraction to the hard won efforts of everyone involved in making our community a safe and family friendly place to live and work.

Just tried this place for the first time today and couldn't be more impressed. Coffee drinks were on point, and I was really excited about the unique cultural food on the menu! Tried the lamb cigars and African beignets - WOW!!! Such sumptuous and delicious flavors it set me in a mode of bliss for the rest of the day. AND, I noticed that they have a cozy little reading room/library which, as a lifelong bookworm, gave me tingles just to see and walk through. All the staff was very kind and friendly as well. To whoever opened up this cafe - I applaud you and wish you many happy years...

Was really excited to try this place, but after tonight I will not be giving them any support. As someone who lives in the neighborhood it’s disappointing to see a business so disrespectful of its surrounding environment. It’s 1:30am and they are still playing extremely loud music with obnoxious base that is keeping the neighborhood awake. Multiple noise complaints to the police by multiple people and the music can still be heard more than two streets over. For a business that prides themselves in supporting the local neighborhood it’s a shame they’re so disrespectful to those...
