If you haven't visited the place, you are definitely missing out! Today I stopped in for coffee and a muffin because the local doughnut place was out of doughnuts (like how does that even happen?!) and a local coffee shop was packed and for some reason, I really wanted a coffee this morning. Turned out to be the best thing that could have happened. While I went in for a muffin & coffee, $20 later, I left with a breakfast pie (egg, potato, bacon & cheese in a butter pie crust) for today, a mini apple brown sugar pie (2 choices of pie crust and I of course went with the less healthy option of butter - the other crust option was sorghum and whole wheat), a ham & cheese hand pie for maybe lunch today or tomorrow, a cardamon cinnamon roll (for tomorrow's breakfast or a midnight snack if I can't wait that long) and a coffee. The quality can't be beat. These pies are made fresh daily and taste like the pies your mom or grandmother would make at Thanksgiving & Christmas. Everything is reasonably priced and the staff are incredibly friendly (& patient as I continually add items after saying I'm done). Seriously, I think the next time I go in, I will just make it easy on everyone and get "one of everything." You can't go wrong with anything in there. Next time you're driving to Starbucks or the doughnut shop, stop. Turn around and head to Fork and Pie. You will...

I didn't know what size I wanted, or how long it would take or any of that. She step by step went through the whole process without me in individual Facebook messages until setting up my exact pickup time.
Got there it was fresh, hot, and ready, nd so I grabbed two other treats too. The cherry scone, blueberry muffin and my custom Derby pie were all amazing. The scone was crumbly and full of cherries with confectioner sugar on top, the muffin was a little buttery, but mild in sweetness, letting the tart Berry flavors win out. And derby pie is just a great idea.
Only thing better than the treats? The customer service!...

Everything was amazing...note I know what I'm talking about...my late grandma and two late aunts all of Italian descent used to stuff me growing up with their competitive baking. In the 30s through 50s, my late grandfather "was" the best bakery in Methuen Mass. Great stuff...we'll...
