Hook Fish & Chicken — Restaurant in Cincinnati

I got the catfish nuggets and chicken tenders with fresh french fries platter. My boyfriend got the burger and fries. Everything came out so hot that my styrofoam box kinda melted lol Absolutely delicious. The french fries are exactly what you think of in your mind when you picture the perfect french fry. They throw in tartar sauce, hot sauce, ketchup and napkins into the bag, which was a nice surprise. I didn't expect sauces to be included.

Everything is obviously made to order. The wait was typical as they were busy and we didn't mind how long it took.

The only thing I found lacking in their establishment is there's nowhere to sit down. Not just that there aren't any tables, but no chairs either. Maybe look into getting some chairs or benches so people have a more comfortable wait?

Anyway, thanks for the amazing service and food. Definitely want to try more stuff I didn't get to yet...

Drove in to Ohio from Dallas for a special occasion and stumbled upon this place and I’m so glad we did! We were only in town for a few days and everyday we were there, we made sure to go grab some food from here. I had whiting and wings on the first day, catfish and wings on the second day, on our way back to Dallas we stopped and I got catfish and 2 legs and a wing! The food is so good and is seasoned so well! The dessert is also to die for! We tried sweet potato pie, lemon cake, Oreo cake, and the cheese cake with strawberry swirl ALL of the desserts were YUMMY especially the Oreo cake! I recommend everyone to try this place and if you don’t or haven’t you are missing out for sure! The guys behind the counter is very kind and cool (especially Souhipe)…he noticed that we came to eat 3 days in a row and gave us or last meal for FREE!!! Now that’s customer service...

Update: The last two times I've been here, the pieces of Whiting were smaller, portion of fries were basically cut in half, less meat on Gyro and the women yak and yak and yak that work on the inside. When the men are working and not joking, the quality of the food and portions are better. I usually get enough to feed the family but the last two times sucked.

Get it together, please.

2nd update: Portions KEEP shrinking and their fries have changed. Too salty. A seasoned batter AND lemon pepper seasoning on the fries?...
