Tostado's Grill — Restaurant in Cincinnati

I had never eaten here before but wanted to give it a try. I ordered a BLT with chips for lunch. When you order online it makes you order and pay via door dash or Uber eats, so I just chose door dash even though it was a pickup order. When I arrived to get my food, the bartender approached me and started saying something about the price I had paid. He was speaking in such broken English that I could only understand a couple of words and he wasn't making much sense. He asked if I had used a coupon on doordash and I said no. From what I can tell, he was trying to say that my order should have cost $12 instead of the $11 that doordash had charged me. He said not to worry about it this time, since I had already paid, but then still continued going on and on about it. Even going as far as to get a menu to show me what the price should be. Yet when he showed me the menu, the price that was displayed was exactly what I had paid. He seemed very confused like even he didn't know what he was saying at that point. He then asked if I had ever ordered that item before ....as if I would have memorized the price or something and it was somehow my fault if doordash charged me incorrectly? After several minutes of this he told me next time I wanted to order I should call the restaurant and not use doordash.

There won't be a next time.......

If doordash is charging incorrectly or has the wrong prices listed then that's something the restaurant needs to handle directly with doordash- not the customer.

And after all of that, the sandwich was honestly pretty mediocre. I'll stick to my tried and true spots that have friendly customer service and aren't going to haggle with me over $1. What a...

Was there Friday night and all I can say is that it's a good thing your food is good. The service sucks. Zachary was the server. Sat down, waited over 15 minutes before anyone came to the table...finally came and asked for drink orders...no menus. Ordered coffee with amaretto. Came back with coffee but no amaretto. Coffee was cold before he brought the amaretto (Didn't know it was a do it yourself bar). Finally brought menus. Another half hour passed and he finally came back and asked if could take order...asked for chips and salsa which was never brought. Ordered finally. Brought food and it was not how it was ordered. Handed it back to him and never even got an apology. Asked if I wanted anything else and at that point I was disgusted with service (or lack thereof) so said no since it would have been at least another 45 minutes to get food and others would have already been done eating (took 45 minutes to get the first round of food after ordering). Then had to actually yell across the room to get him to bring the check...everyone had been done eating over a half hour by this point. What a mess...and the service is always pretty much this bad...or at least close. He is pretty much useless...as is the manager, who sat at the bar and ate in front of customers...that's really...

Went out for a friends birthday last night and will never go back. The one bartender was so drunk out of her mind she could not talk or walk straight. She told me a Carbless (a drink in a can similar to white claw) was $9 if it was cash. I said I had cash then realized she gave me the wrong change earlier in the night, so I had to pay card card she said it’d be more, I was like okay that’s fine she asked for my last name and I told her I did not have a tab, she then asked for it again so I gave it to her— not sure why she needed it. Then she proceeds to charge me nearly $16 for the drink on card. I also brought a $20 bill in and asked for $13 back and for them to keep $7 so I could tip them 20%.. when I went to pay cash for the Carbless I realized she only gave me $7 back and kept $13. I found it pointless to argue with someone so sloppy and out of their mind drunk. I work in the industry and have never seen anything like this. Terrible service and the employees are thieves. Your money is better...
