We don't even go in to sit down and eat anymore because 90% of the staff is so rude I'd rather deal with one of the teenagers at a fast food drive thru in town. We had switched to just ordering carry out so we could still enjoy the food. That has proven to become a nightmare. Everytime we order carry out they act as though we are inconveniencing them. The past 2/3 times they have made things incorrectly or forgotten items out of our order. They charged us appetizer price for a side order of guacamole. We asked for a couple extra salsas for our chips, completely willing to pay extra, instead of extra we got one salsa for 3 orders of chips. Tonight we called again to place a carry out order, their hours clearly say 930 here on Google, well apparently they have begun closing at 830 according to the rude female that answered the phone. She is beyond rude Everytime we call. To the point that when she answers I will hang up until I get someone besides her, or ask for someone else. No apology for our disappointment that their hours are incorrect on here, just a "well it says it on the door," with a rude tone. When I advised her they just lost customers she couldnt have cared less. You would think that losing customers that order and spend at least $50 once a week, and still tip for carry out, would have some sort of meaning to a business in a town like circleville. But that's fine, the food at the Mexican restaurant In Lancaster is much better, and they just inspired me to make the drove..... Keep it up el Palomar and you won't...
Read morerecently had the pleasure of dining at El Palomar and was blown away by their commitment to sustainability and water conservation. As a patron of the men's restroom, I was impressed to see a toilet with a dual flush option, allowing me to conserve water while still getting the job done.
But the eco-friendly touches didn't stop there. The restaurant's use of locally sourced ingredients and their commitment to reducing waste through composting and recycling made my meal taste even better.
But let's not forget about the food itself. From the sizzling fajitas to the flavorful tacos, every dish was a true masterpiece. The attentive staff made the dining experience even more enjoyable, ensuring that every need was met.
Overall, El Palomar is a standout restaurant that not only serves delicious food but also cares about the environment. I highly recommend it to anyone looking for a fantastic dining experience with a conscience. Five...
Read morePoorly executed attempt at the bland style of Mexican food. No fresh elements, bland salsa, margarita was day-glow green and looked like it came out of an off the shelf premixed bottle from the grocery store. Fajitas are usually safe in an unknown place, and they were horribly overcooked, steak and chicken like leather, shrimp tasted old. We tried this restaurant soon after they opened, and tried it again last night due to the positive reviews. I would rather eat Taco Bell than return to this restaurant, and I have not had Taco Bell in over 20 years. Service was also poor, but the real issue...
