I was very disappointed with the food and the Service. This was my first time in a Bob Evans establishment. My best friend had recommended Bob Evans and she was very disappointed also. The waitress was very abrupt and rude and to me it felt like we were being rushed. I felt very uncomfortable, and definitely not at home. The food was cooked very fast and was definitely not savorable, and enjoyable. The pancakes were hard, the home fries and sausage patties were burnt. I decided to try the Arnold Palmer iced tea drink, that was enough for me to request a water instead. My best friends Elizabeth (the one who recommended Bob evans) and her wife Felicia and their youngest daughter said the only thing they enjoyed was their drinks. One of the most disappointing things was the customer service. When running a business the customers are the ones that pay your checks, and keep your business hopping. If you can't respect the customers request and be respectful, why would I as a customer want to come back? Each Bob Evans has a restaurant review and my words to the owner of the particular restaurant are to retrain your employees. As a customer your concerns with your food and the things you need should never ever be ignored. I understand that it can get stressful when you are rushed, but the customer should not be the one you take your...

I've never been a fan of Bob Evan's. Somehow, Google tracks every time I go, and I've been there 4 times in the past 3 years. Each time, I'm reminded why it's so rare. Theres nothing I can complain about in regards to taste. The carrots were good, the Shrimp was tasty, the fries were good and reminiscent of Captain Ds and finally the steak was quite good.
But none of it was great, and that's the hallmark of Bob Evan's. The portion size was terrible (this plate of food was $14 and was missing one shrimp and maybe 8 fries before the picture). This is why Bob Evan's is so-so: any other restaurant does better or cheaper. The shrimp and fries were similar if not sourced from Captain Ds supplier. A $13 sirloin from Texas Roadhouse would have towered above this much less the portion.
But certainly it's not bad, it's never bad. Must be why so many old people congregate to their nearest Bob Evan's. It's a safe menu. It's like your grandma's cooking. Not the classic way you remember it, but the way she made it after she gave up on cooking, only rolling out a few foods during a get together.
3.5 stars out of 5, but I rounded down because almost everyone else at my table made the same comment about dismal...
Read moreLet me put it this way. I tried to dine. And lady won't buy should I be right with you? There was a lady at the cash register. Checking to people out for to goals and the girl walked back by me. She was bowling behind the counter. Doing something? I don't know what it is. She won't bite by me. Looked at me and kept on walking. Come back there again. And nobody never got up with me. When I was saying another person that worked dire it was overbinding the counter. Don't know what she was doing actually and then there's another young light that was cleaning a table off. So I never ordered no food. Never got to sit down because somebody's patient. They're gonna be with you in a minute to me. That means I'll be with you in a minute. If that makes me a b, and I'm sorry that makes me a b But I have tried to go to Bob Evans before and this is Bob Evans in Circleville, Ohio. By the way, it just that was about 10 cars in the parking lot. But not a whole lot. I could understand if it was busy but they wasn't. Or didn't look like it to me. Anyway, good. Been wrong but anyway, not be back to place. I'm going to be here for another 3 or 4 months. I'll eat...
