I'd give it a zero if I could. There's a pandemic going on. It's been going on. I drove 45 minutes to this place to make my wife happy. She's from Chicago, I'm also from Chicago but have spent a great deal of time in New York City and the Tri State area and am always grumbling about the horrible Italian food here in the Columbus area and Ohio in general. So we thought "hey good reviews we'll give it a try". Got there, can't get in and there's a barcode hanging on a door that says scan to order. So after over a year of pandemic there is nothing on their website about no inside dining, carry out and pick up only. At least I'm assuming it's carry out and pickup only. The guy on the other side of the window did his best to ignore us so we left. I guess if you don't have a smart phone you can't order either. This is a bad way to do business. This is typical Ohio small town mentality. Nothing New York City about it. A Subway or Jersey Mike's in New York City or Chicago would do better. On a bright note. Since we were there anyway we tried out Watt Street Tavern. They get 5 stars and I'll go review them next. Their owner should thank Ritchie. His poorly constructed web site and ignorant employees probably send them a lot of...

He pointed across the street to Richie's. We followed his advice and ended up with a couple of the best subs I've had since a trip I took to Fort Myers beach in 1987. I was so glad we passed up the fast food along route 23 and drove a few blocks into the old town that still serves as the hq for the annual pumpkin show! Warning: this is not Subway. They won't make it while you stand there telling them what to put on it. And even though it's a small town and you'd swear there's no one around, the place gets busy at lunch time. So be prepared to hang around and wait a few minutes while they work. Or phone your order in if you are in a hurry. But you'll be happy you did. Featuring Boar's Head meats, fresh baked, hearty sub buns and fresh sliced toppings and cheeses, I think you'll be glad you stopped by to tour the Pickaway...
Read moreMe and my Husband went here this month for our first time. The guy on the register talked to the lady in front of us for almost 10 minutes while a line was getting long behind us. I ordered our sandwiches and he kept asking if I wanted chips or drinks or a side dish. I kept saying " no thank you I just wanted the sandwiches." Had to say no a few times as he kept saying everything he had if I wanted it.Then we waited almost another 30 minutes to get out sandwiches. The whole time the guy kept saying the exact same "joke" over and over again. The lady behind us and the two gentleman behind her got their sandwiches before us. I popped behind the counter a bit and told them that and asked where ours were. They had been wrapped up and just sitting there for who knows how long. I've been wanting to try this place for awhile and finally did just to have the experience not good and the food wasn't bad but mediocre. Definitely wasnt worth the price they were. I will never...
