This is the 2nd Beto's I've tried. The other was El Camino and Howe Ave. The food was awesome there, so I wanted to see if this one was similar. IT WAS! I got the food to go. Soon as I opened the bag chips were on top. They were light, crispy, lightly salted and warm. Oh my. These chips were rhe best. I ordered a Chimichanga. It was huge! I cut it open and it was stuffed, I do mean stuffed with meat. I tried my rice and refried bean, which I usually don't care for cause it's bland. Beto's put extra emphasis on making it tasty. The Citrus Heights Beto's added cheese and pico de Gallo in the rice. OMG was that ever the best. Make sure you ask for cheese & pico in your rice. I certainly will when I go back. Then my Chimi. It was crispy, full of meat. So much meat, I was able to put some of those very tasty chips. It is wonderful to have a Mexican restaurant in The Citrus Heights & Antelope area that is as good as what I experienced at Citrus Heights Beto's. There are several places to eat on that stretch of Auburn Blvd. Beto's is a place you must stop at and try some of the best Mexican food I've ever had. The inside is open with plenty of seating. Beer is available which will go great with some of that great food. The authenticity is there and I'm giving Beto's two thumbs up! Try it later today!

Way too expensive for a burrito came out to $14!!! Then they hit you with a .60 cent credit card fee yes there a small sign stating this but you can't even notice it!! You have to pay also for a bag of chips $1 wth! Your better off dining in a restaurant for prices like this ridiculous.Taqueria La Neva Vallarta in Roseville has free chips, salsa all the fixings all for free. Never coming back to this way over priced food, rip off...

Although it's a chain it is definitely quality, at least the ones I've been to.. Prices have gone up everywhere but at least the portions remain the same, the enchilada sauce is good. Good atmosphere in the staff is friendly, and the last time we pulled up the doors were locked but she opened the doors back up so we can eat inside.. thank you thank you

I’m big on Customer Service but the lady who took our order and gave us our food was very cold. And not very friendly at all. Like she was in a bad mood and not having a good day! I almost left as soon as they rushed me while taking my order. And I wish I had.

I ordered the guacamole on the side. It was the nastiest guacamole I have ever seen. It was watery and looked like a sauce not like guacamole at all. And had no flavor!!!!

I also ordered a side of sour cream. This was liquid and looked like milk when it goes bad. I couldn’t bring myself to eat it. If I wasn’t so tired I would have taken it back. It went in the trash. I don’t know how much I paid for the sour cream. As I did not receive a receipt. :( It comes in the smallest container ever.

Now to the food. I got rolled tacos. They were the smallest rolled tacos with barely any meat all shell. With no flavor.

The beans that were included on the plate were also runny and flavorless. The rice had a nice consistency but it was also flavorless.

The food was hot so it was cooked fresh! But I will not go back because of the terrible customer service. And the quality of the food and condiments. I love going to family owned places. But was definitely...

Tonight for dinner, my mother asked for extra guacamole and Pico De Gallo. These 2 items were over $10.00 and were both very watery and the guacamole had NO flavor at all. You couldn't have eaten the Guacamole with a fork - you would have to use a spoon.....or a straw. It went straight into the garbage disposal.

Even worse than the high priced, watery, tasteless condiments is the "woman" that owns this place with her husband. She is the most hateful, miserable, nasty, rude person that we have encountered in many years!!!!!

I actually feel really bad for the poor ( Nice ) man that pledged to spend forever with this beast!!!!! I hope he drinks.....and drinks A LOT - no one could possibly survive that without copious amounts of alcohol!!!!

About he food......... Honestly, that doesn't matter 1 bit - if it were the absolute best food we had ever eaten - it would not be worth giving that woman another cent and the opportunity to mistreat my mother again.

Panchito Mexican Restaurant right down the street has wonderful staff and...
