Kem Kem Soft Serve — Restaurant in Citrus Heights

We stopped by on Friday evening and absolutely loved it! The space is super cute inside, with adorable decor and plenty of seating. As soon as we walked in, the staff welcomed us warmly, which made us feel right at home. They serve soft serve in cups or with Taiyaki (which you can also get on its own with different fillings—yum!). We tried the guava milk tea swirl, the ube Thai tea swirl, and the ube on its own. One of ours came with a custard-filled Taiyaki, and it was SO good! Everything came out quickly, and we loved that you can add toppings and a cookie. Our kids had a blast choosing their own combos—it was such a fun experience for them. The soft serve was delicious—light, not overly sweet, and super refreshing, especially the guava! Great customer service , clean store, and delicious food!

We had something similar to this shops dessert before and would drive out 20-30 minutes just for it when we crave it.

This shop hits the taiyaki and soft serve craving! Cookies were also delicious! Not to mention it’s literally a 3-5 minute drive!

Excellent desserts and service! We got so lucky this came to our neighborhood. The puffed pastries are so tasty and our toddler thinks it’s so fun. Very clean and bright inside. Pricing is reasonable and there are a lot of options.
