I would give them zero stars if possible.
I was taking my mother out to dinner talking up the Carrabba's experience over her prefered choice of the Olive Garden.
We were promptly greeted and seated when we walked in.
Our server who introduced herself as Madison, took our beverage orders of water with lemon, Diet Coke and unsweet tea with Splenda. Madison also took our entrees orders of 2, Fettuccnie Weezie and 1, Rigitoni Martino with chicken. All with house salads.
Our beverages of water with NO lemon, Diet Coke and unsweet tea with SUGAR were delivered by another gentleman. I asked the gentleman for some lemon for my mothers water and some Splenda for my wifes tea.
Our house salads were soon deliivered. Not seeing or being offered any bread, I asked the gentleman who delivered the salads if we could get some bread, lemon for my moms water and some Splenda for my wifes tea.
The Splenda was delivered to the table but still NO lemon.
When our entrees were delivered, my wifes Rigitoni Martino was cold.
It was returned to the kitchen and a new meal prepared. By the new the entree time it arrived, my mom and I were nearly though with or meal.
Asking a fourth time, my mom finally got her lemon.
With our glasses empty, we asked for beverage refills. I felt we had to ask as it was readily apparent that it wasn't going to be offered.
When my wifes refill tea came out, she added the Splenda as she did before only to find out it was sweet tea. Needless to say, she had to ask for unsweet tea.
We couldn't check out fast enough. Getting the bill, providing my phone number to check for rewards, getting approval for a military discount, getting boxes, providing my debit card and getting the final bill took about twenty mins.
The level of service received and attention to detail by the serving staff was hortible.
It was without a doubt, the worst experience I have ever had at any Carrabba's.
Next time we consider going to Carrabba's, it won't be to Sheldon...
Read moreOh, snap! "Who knew?"Haha that's what what the hubby and I kept saying. We've never been here before and my goodness it was amazing. The atmosphere is inviting, wonderful lighting, delicious smells swirling, Italian classics playing...we were immediately greeted upon walking in and that is a good sign of service to me. Courtney was our amazing server. She had some great recommendations and made a yummy Cappuccino. Perfect for a rainy Sunday. We started with Stuffed Mushrooms and had Sicilian Chicken Soup. The Stuffed Mushrooms had the most amazing sauce. The soup was a homemade and hearty like grandma used to make. The Beef Rib Special was so tender! I joked around about it thinking it would be a tiny short rib and I was so wrong! I definitely recommend it. It came with a huge serving of mashed red potatoes. We also had the Fettuccine Weesie. The tanginess of the lemon butter sauce was complementary of the shrimp! All in all from the moment we walked in it was a great experience. We are so grateful for such wonderful service! Thanks, Courtney! I will say that the servings are definitely generous and sharable. Each entree was a hearty significant portion. That is not a complaint. I think it's a great thing for family dinners and now we know what to expect. Also, the bread with olive oil and Italian...
Read moreCarrabba’s on Sheldon Avenue. I have been here before but not for the past 2 years seems like. There is no outdoor seating, but inside seating consist of bar area, high tops, booth and tables.they have added a glass layer to separate the top of booths I suspect for Covid protection. Noted prices are probably 20% higher ( inflation coming😁). Say chicken Marsala was about 16$ now 20$. For a party of 2 get ready for 50-60$ check. Size of the meals has not changed that is good. There was ample seating on a Thursday night and no lines. Medium noise level, so feels warm and casual. Bathroom was clean. Open kitchen design so if you are toward the back you may see some activity, and flames 🔥 Our server Ava was nice, polite and prompt. Lentil soup is my favorite, it is a bit spicy but very tasty. I love the hot bread and olive and herbs. I also had spaghetti and shrimp, had heavy and rich white sauce ( high cholesterolers be ware). I don’t know if it was whole grain it not but tasted a bit different. Chicken Marsala was good and I like the mushroom and sauce. Also we got berries and butter cake for dessert which was new and yummy. Strange thing is I prefer Carrabba’s to any other Italian restaurants even in Italy 😂 They have a reward program that will save you money if you plan to go...
