Horrible customer service. I just moved to the Tampa area a little over a month ago and found this DD closest to my place of business which I thought was great! Mind you I’ve lived in Tampa for a total of about 5 weeks and frequent DD about twice a week. In that short time frame I’ve had The wrong order given to me at the drive through, didn’t realize it until I got to work, by then it was too late to go back and correct it. No big deal, it happens. Waited in the drive through line for 15 min to finally pull up to pay (ordered my coffee and a breakfast sandwich) and was told that their credit card machines are down and can only take visa (What??) I explained to the cashier that unfortunately the only form of payment I had was my debit card which happens to be a MasterCard. She was very annoyed and just stared at me like if this was somehow my fault. I told her they probably need to put a sign up by the drive through since I’m sure it would inconvenience a lot of customers. She finally handed me my food. I’m sure they lost a lot of money that day. Waited in line for a good 7-8 minutes to finally place my order, at this point I’m trapped because there’s a line of cars behind me (you can’t get out of the drive through once you pull in it) so I order my usual, coffee and sandwich. The lady tells me sorry but they can’t serve any food today since their machines aren’t working. Now I am stuck, I would rather go someplace else to get a coffee and a sandwich but I have to go through the motions anyway so I get my coffee and go. Not to mention this place is filthy, garbage cans are overflowing and trash on their floors. Horribly customer service, if you can avoid it please do at all costs. Go down the street to Starbucks or next door...
Read moreUPDATE:(pictures attached are for this review) Previously this Dunkin review was 2 stars and only for 1 staff member who was always helpful and sweet. But anymore this Dunkin is a nightmare. From an absurd amount of grounds in the coffee to careless staff. I returned to this location to see if they were doing any better. Unfortunately things went from bad to worse. I had been pretty loyal to this place but today is the final straw. It wasn’t the first time I’ve had issues and it won’t be the last. I’ve receive wrong donuts, runny icing, and poor service since the new staff has been hired. There is no passion in these workers. But today was the worst. To have the donuts so carelessly made and thrown in a bag, the icing dripping off the donuts and sticking them to the bag, napkins, and each other is unacceptable. (See attached photos for details)
Previous 2 Star review: I’ve never had a problem at this Dunkin until today. Had been coming here pretty regularly for the last year and the staff was mostly friendly and even knew my order by heart. I ordered the same thing I’ve been getting the last few weeks and it came out quick and with a smile. Things were looking alright and then I got to work. I took my first sip of my ice coffee with pumpkin and cream and there was a grainy material in my drink. I know it was sugar. Ended up throwing out the whole drink. 2 stars are only because the lady at the window was sweet to me. Probably won’t be back...
Read moreI went through the drive through earlier today at around 4:30-5:00 pm and i wish i would have gotten the employees name as our service was absolutely terrible. i was greeted in the drive through and asked if i could look at the menu for just a second. all i got back was silence on the other end which felt rude but i figured maybe she was just busy. then, i politely asked if i could ask a question. the employee very rudely said “give me a minute and i’ll take your order.” at this point i was annoyed. i waited a couple minutes and finally she took my order, but was very snappy, didn’t listen very well so kept getting it wrong, and then rudely told me my total and that was it. when i got to the window, i was not greeted in any way, and when the coffees were finally ready, she held them out of the window at me without saying two words to me. i had no clue she was there staring at me rudely until my boyfriend told me to turn around bc she was staring at me with her hand out the window. She forcefully handed me the drinks, and then immediately slammed the window shut and LOCKING it. i was appalled at the customer service and i hope this employee can be reprimanded appropriately. i have always made a point to be kind to fast food workers since i remember how frustrating the job can be, but there was no excuse for this kind of behavior.
