NOT for sushi eaters. We stopped in starving and noticed although it was very nice inside, the place was empty at 7:30. It seems to be a latin inspired sushi place.
I figured I'd be careful and ordered non sushi, the duck "dumplings" to stsrt. My friend had a tuna roll.
My dish came out....and before me were 4 deep fried, greasy empanada looking "dumplings." Served with a dark soy sauce....for duck?? But Greasy! I reluctantly tried one, and tasted no duck, and some odd loose vegetables in a greasy pocket. I could only eat 2. My friend got the spicy tuna roll, which is a large roll with a lot of clumped non sushi rice, that tasted odd, and typical spiced tuna mix. I had only one piece. It wasn't good.
Overpriced sakes and plum wine as well.
As I type, I'm still recovering as I was up all night with stomach pains and worse. I wish I hadn't eaten any of that.... not so sushi food and...
Read moreWe were so excited that this restaurant opened another location. However, our experience was very mixed in that the things that were done well were great, but other things failed entirely. We had a reservation and were seated quickly. My water cup placed on the table was filthy and the little container of flowers was rotting and in dirty water. Our food came quickly and was piping hot, which is much appreciated. Tom yum soup was the best I’d had in the area. The curry ramen was good, and the drunken noodles were excellent. The duck tacos were dry and under seasoned. My husband bit into one, and a large duck bone cut part of his gum. We did send it back. Our server ate servings of cake in view of the open kitchen while our water glasses sat empty for over 10 minutes. It has such potential, but needs to be refined so that the food and service...
Read moreHIGHLY RECOMMEND. My husband and I are doing date night tonight and we got here 5:50/6pm for an early dinner before a show. It was a little empty when we arrived since it was a bit early, but we are about to leave at 7pm and it’s very crowded. We shared Snapper Sushi Roll as our appetizer and I had the Drunken Noodles dish and my husband had the Loa Lemongrass dish. All three things were absolutely delicious and extremely flavorful. The service was a little slow because they weren’t expecting to be so crowded tonight (a guesstimate of almost 80% of the inside tables were full), and I still think the servers did a good job. We also ordered a different speciality drink to celebrate and we both thought they were super tasty. 10/10...
