I was there last year to have a couple of drinks with a new 21 year old. Maria was chomping on a burger and involved with conversation of a male friend (who later tried to fight one of the few patrons in the bar). I complained to management, because I was a regular there at the time and Maria threatened me and told me to leave if I didnât like it. Management obviously didnât care what I had to say, because I received no response and I had heard from others that she was still there and the rudest to the customers of all the bartenders there. I returned three times over the last year for specific reasons only. Last night, I was told she was there, but to come in since she wasnât working behind the bar and the other two bartenders would serve my drinks. One of the trio of mangers was there, we chatted as it had been awhile since we saw each other. Once I had noticed she left, I was getting ready to close out my tab and the girl serving me said, my supervisor told me I had to cut you off. I asked who? She said It doesnât matter, my supervisor asked me to cut you off. I said, okay who? Maria or Alex and she said âstop yelling at meâ LOL, Iâm sorry I have a $21 tab and the music is loud, I was just asking who and you canât tell me it is the person that should have been fired for her attitude and threatening me last year? I paid my bill, left and I contacted management, yet again. Not that anything will be done, but please know that this is by far the worst location of all. People smoke and vape inside, last night I thought I was inside a greenhouse. I love Oldsmar and St.Pete, but unfortunately I want nothing to do with the company as a whole when they condone...
Read moreMy friend and I stopped by The Local DH on Saturday night, and the place was completely deserted other than one occupied table and a few people sitting at the bar. We paid to play pool, intending to order drinks afterward, but shortly after inserting our money into the pool table, we were approached by a staff member who shockingly asked us to leave because we hadnât purchased drinks first. When I pointed out that we HAD paid to play pool, he merely shrugged uncomfortably. There was not a waiting list for the table, we had not been squatting there for hours and not purchased anything, we had only been in the building for about 5 minutes and we were keeping to ourselves. We were just there to enjoy a quiet game of pool and order a drink after, but were instead asked to leave, which begs the question why? Did the way we presented ourselves bother someone, because the treatment felt discriminatory, leaving us feeling humiliated and unwelcome, which is ironic considering this place has a reputation for serving to fake IDs, so you wouldnât think theyâd be so choosy about their clientele. This bar is unprofessional, disrespectful, and not worth anyoneâs time. Avoid this place...
Read moreI think tonight makes my fourth time here in the past week or so. I live near by but just never stopped in, decided to give it a try last weekend. First off kudos to Shana she is a great Bartender with excellent customer service and knows how to keep the party and conversation going! Iâve been lucky enough to have half of my encounters be with her as she seems to work the day I come in. I also met Braxton who makes probably one of the best margaritas Iâve ever had. While the customer service and the drinks are superb I will say I think the prices are a little high for a âlocal barâ and inconsistent, while both make excellent drinks I think it should be uniformed across the board and also only been coming for a week or so and the âspecialsâ in reference to their loyalty Program have already changed and I overheard in conversation from others that this is a rare occurrence. But over all I keep coming back for the service and the...
