Worst pizza delivery experience ever. I will not recommend ordering from this location ever. The employees need to be educated on customer service as they have little to no clue what it's all about. First of all the driver never showed up with the food and when I called, the person over the phone(Kelly) who also assumed herself to be the general manager told me that the driver had an issue and couldn't locate he business address for delivery and insisted that they will have to charge me another $3 for the delivery if they send the driver back with the food. Not to forget, I had mentioned the business name on the order and there is no possible way that their driver could have missed it.
Ended up canceling the order and just to prove my point, drove all the way over to the store to show them that the address was saved on my pizza profile as a business address in the dominos app on my phone but the manager continued to argue and kept trying to make it seem like it was my fault as I failed to answer the drivers phone call the first time. I was told that since their drivers don't get paid for their gas which is why there was a 2nd delivery charge. Seriously??? the gas is $2.50 a gallon the last time I checked and $3 is more than enough for a 3 mile trip or at least a couple of trips for that matter. The manager(Kelly)was not apologetic at all about the inconvenience it had caused me and didn't try to resolve the issue at all but instead kept blaming us for not providing proper instructions/address or answering the phone.
Is this a dominos policy that the customer has to answer the phone each time to receive the delivery??? I have written to the corporate about the whole situation and awaiting their response. I have always liked dominos pizza but after yesterday have been so...
Read moreI personally love dominos. The pizza comes super fast. And they have best baked wings beside dp dough Albany. The only downside to this location is the way they handle messed up orders. I didn't wait long for my first order but when I received it wasn't what I ordered and upon calling the store she said she could give me a credit for my messed up pizz. After the call ended I realized that my sandwhich was also incorrect. I called the store back and the employee told me. She could remake the order if I gave the driver the other stuff back. Which is fine because It wasn't what I ordered. But normally restaurants tell you to just keep it. They may need to see it just to make sure it's wrong but to bring it back to the store was almost as if they were going to resell it. She said she would give me a credit to use on a further order as well. When I called the store to redeem it this morning they told me it didn't exists. I also placed an order for a ceasar salad with ceasar dressing and a extra itialian dressing for pizza dipping purposes. I realized they had forgotten the dressing for the salad so I called to let them know. She first tells me it will be 45 minutes for another dressing which is okay. But after I received the drsssing the second time it was an Italian dressing again. I asked someone to credit the dressing and just take off the 54 cents. I still haven't recieved an adjustments. Dominos is still a cool company I'd probly eat there again. I'm not sure if they have new management or employees but this locations employees do not seem to have a...
Read moreI will never order from this store ever again. This was thr first time I ever experienced such poor service. I ordered online @7:02pm and did not receive the food until after 8:30pm. The delivery driver called me to say come outside to get the food. I explained this is a senior residence and for him to come inside. He refused stating he will meet at the front door and how he has other deliveries and threatened to leave and come back. I told him that I paid for a tip and luckily I was able to get someone to pick it up for her. I then called the store to speak to a manager and spoke to a male named Kalvin that said he was the GM. He did not express any customer service after I explained what happened. He said that delivery drivers do not deliver inside apartment buildings for safety. I explained that this was not my first time ordering from his store to my mother's residence and the previous drivers delivered directly to her door. He said he didn't know why that occurred but he was not sympathetic at all. I told him that as a manager he should demonstrate quality customer skills and explain the importance of that to his driver and he claimed to have apologized to me throughout the conversation but that was not true. I understand the food industry can be very demanding but when a customer is paying for a service, it's only fair for that customer to be met with quality customer service and I know that the executive leadership of Dominos recognizes that as a part of their integral goal to provide satisfactory service. Thank you for taking the time to...
