This place is pretty new so I've been giving them the benefit of the doubt. But not anymore. The drive-thru has an unusual set-up; I particularly like the sign asking online orderers to 'politely merge', cause sometimes even the best of us need to be reminded to be polite. Anyhow, the building is new and beautiful and Clean. And Ginormous. The staff is pleasant, too. But. Despite the rarity of having more than maybe 1 other customer onsite when I am there, the service really is consistently slow. I have seen as many as 4 workers inside, been the only one there and still waited an extended period of time to get my drink- an iced coffee. Which for some reason has never been quite as tasty as the ones I get elsewhere, like 2 mins down the road at the Broadway location. This is something I will never understand about any Dunkin'- the lack on consistency when machines and lines on a cup do 70% of the measuring for you. But what really pushed me to be done with the place was my experience today. I waited so patiently for my mediocre cup of jo' , took a sip as I pulled away and thought 'yep, that's not delicious'. It took the 3 min drive back to my office to realize the problem - whomever had made my 'iced' coffee had simply filled a cup with ice and then poured Hot coffee over it.
This is downright Blasphemous in the coffee world.
Sure, maybe one person made a hot coffee in error and 'fixed' the problem by adding ice - and created a new problem. Maybe the owners are super strict and if you don't opt for the fancy Cold Brew on Tap, you get moderately cool watered down coffee. Maybe they were out of iced coffee on this warm day. If that were the case, they could have said as much and I would've gotten a Cold Brew- I am willing to be up-sold when the need arises. But no they commited java homicide and now our relationship, so new and fragile, has ended. Cause you shouldn't date murders. Fare thee well New Dunkin, oh what...
Read moreI live in Boston and go to D&D’s all over New England. Unfortunately, the D&D next to my Mom’s in my hometown of Albany is the WORST. Their first strike was when I went inside to order and had to wait over 2 minutes to be addressed with a simple hello and was ignored by the staff which had no courtesy. The next time I visited my Mom and went to this D&D I ordered an english muffin for my breakfast sandwich from their Drive-Thru and they used a croissant instead. Today, I went to their Drive-Thru and waited over a minute in dead silence before I said, “Hello”. And it was another 30 seconds before a women said “We’ll be with you.” And it was another 30 seconds before a man took my order. Moreover, when I drove up to this D&D their parking was empty and no customers were inside. I was simply ignored. I have worked in the food & services industry for over 30 years and have never been to a business establishment with such poor customer service. It breaks my heart that the city I grew up in 30 years ago has changed for the worse and their is business next to my Mom’s that STINKS! 🏪 D&D...
Read moreWorst customer service I’ve ever experienced. They are so mean and rude for no reason. They intentionally mess with customers food to make fun of them or be mean to them. For example, if you ask for toasted they will burn your bagel and if you ask for extra cream cheese they make fun of you and put a ridiculous amount of it on there. My bagel was over toasted so it hurt my jaw. It’s not funny and they are so mean. Extra cream cheese just means the person wants a little bit more than the normal. They are wasting company resources and money. If they don’t want to do their jobs then they should find a new job. What terrible people. It makes me upset because I always am so kind to them but they are just terrible. They hate their customers and think they are an annoyance well okay I’m never coming to this location again. I’m not paying this much money to have my food messed up and be treated...
