Dunkin' — Restaurant in City of Albany

Great service.. Friendly team. There is however the older lady that is over everyone there that is very rude. She has used curse words and Been racist towards others. She once said... About a chinese person... He should go back to his country. There is a young man... That is chinese ..i think.. That has been there working awhile. When she said that he looked but kept a very professional expression on his face while looking hurt some. I could see it in his eyes. Very sad experience and hurtful. There were 2 other customers there at the time and they didn't utter a word. Everyone was shocked including me. How a supervisor could be an example for her staff and customers in that kind of way is beyond me. I continue to go there because it is convenient to my travels on my way to work and the other staff who work there really are truly amazing. Always smiling. There is one guy John who is a constant team member there and he always goes above and beyond keeping a smile on his face. Those are the reasons i go there. The one in charge barely smiles therefore how she gets these amazing workers is beyond me. However some excellent staff have left there. For whatever reasons i do not know. I come to this particular location maybe 4-5 x a week and order the same thing. Yes the staff has been very much a recolving door kinda experience now a days so i dont expect them to know me or my order anymore. Inwent yesterday teying to get me and my daughters our USUAL order, me a caramel vraze latte and them ice milk with vanilla syrup (because obviously im not giving my children caffine and they dont even like the decaf so it made no sense getting them a latte.) ive never had a problem before and usually pay a little less than i do for a latte. Well yesterday they flat out refused to let me order unless i wanted to pay latte price for a cup of ice milk. I explained kindly and patiently. I could see they were young and not well versed on customer service. I could also see they wanted to do the absolute bare minimum. They were all dismissive huffing and puffing telling me "theres no button" for a drink i get 4x a week. Whatever you do, do not come to this Dunkin’ Donuts I live nearby and will never step foot in that establishment, I have gone to this Dunkin’ Donuts a total of 5 times in the last month after 6pm , each time I went, was for a donut, there was not one pastry available each time and when I ask why that’s the case I’m given attitude,, I don’t know if they’re back there chomping on them or giving them away but this has never been the case at this Dunkin’ Donuts and it’s sad that I can’t support a local business in my neighborhood. Sad to see it isn’t only me who feels that way based on the reviews. I will be using my connections to contact corporate this week hopefully that will influence change or better yet bring a better restaurant in place of that...
