My boyfriend and I ordered through DoorDash (12/30/2022) . I would just like to clarify that when we got our order from the DoorDash driver, the order/bag was secured and unopened. We ordered an order of tamales, an order of menudo, three asada tacos and three lengua tacos. Upon eating the tacos, we found hair so I called the restaurant as well as DoorDash. DoorDash told me to contact the restaurant. So when I contacted the restaurant, a polite woman answered the phone, heard my concern and then transferred me to the manager. From being on hold to the manager answering the phone took around five minutes. I explained my concerns to the manager and she told me that it was DoorDash problems. I once more reiterated the issue and she told me that DoorDash was the one to deal with. This was our very first time dealing with this restaurant (and most definitely last time dealing with them), and we weren't even really looking for any compensation but some responsibility instead, which we got neither. Providing the pictures of hair in our food. Please be careful because the woman I spoke to said she was the "owner" but I highly doubt that. The owner of a restaurant they were proud of would have offered something in return after I was so polite and patient. Pictures provided below. Also, the DoorDash website (provided by their restaurant) has their tamales topped with salsa and cotija cheese but in person the tamales are topped with (unexpected) mole. Save your tastebuds and money and make at home! (Pictures provided below!!!!!). We are mostly upset because there was hair in our food and we could not eat what we ordered. There was no sympathy from the "owner" from hair being in our food.

In town for a concert, and craving Mexican food. My dining companion and I found El Mariachi, and their menu had just what we were craving. Walking into the restaurant we noticed how clean and lovely it is - Beautifully decorated for Christmas as well. Immediately after seating we received complimentary chips and salsa. The salsa was a quite tasty chipotle salsa. We both ordered the El Mariachi Margarita which was very, very good! We opted to start with the Chili con Queso with added Chorizo. The portion is definitely enough for four to share, but we managed to finish it between the two of us. It was delightfully cheesy and delicious! For my main course I ordered the enchilada plate. It’s my go-to dish I crave! I requested one chicken and one cheese enchilada with red sauce, and extra sour cream on the side. Wow! What an amazing plate of deliciousness! Both enchiladas were blanketed in red sauce which clearly was made properly with dried chilies - no skimping on sauce which makes this diner very happy. The rice was the best I’ve had in a Mexican restaurant. The rice was seasoned wonderfully, was moist, and not dry. The black beans were quite good. Nicely seasoned, and a nice accompaniment to the plate. Service was perfect. Our server was friendly and polite. She definitely has great timing! Our water was never empty either as a very nice gentleman made sure we had water as needed. Overall, we left stuffed and very happy. Such a wonderful restaurant! Be sure to give them a try knowing one will not be disappointed.

Visiting friends in Albany to go to the Capital Concert that had food trucks but the food truck part was rained out so we went to El Mariachi for dinner. I’ve driven past El Mariachi many times and wanted to eat there. It’s a cool looking place with multiple levels. We ate in the back room. The service was excellent as was the atmosphere. We shared guacamole ($4.95) as we looked at the menu. I ordered a Ranch Water with Casamigos Reposado tequila as they didn’t have my favorite One With Life tequila which was on the menu. For dinner I had the Enchiladas Rancheras ($18.95) Spinach & cheese enchiladas topped with a ranchero sauce. A blend of fresh garlic, poblano peppers, cilantro, and onions with Mexican rice and black beans. It was as delicious as it sounds. My wife had the Black Bean soup to start. She also shared with two friends the Vegetarian Fajitas ($23.95) Served with fresh grilled vegetables, bell peppers, onions, pico de gallo, guacamole, and sour cream with Mexican rice and black beans. The food was outstanding.

I will start off saying the food was good, not spectacular just good. My experience though was ruined by the complete lack of service. I cant even say they have bad service, because I literally had to get up from my table and find someone to get drinks ordered, order food, and get the check. I'm more amazed at what happened than anything I've never seen anything like it at a sit down restaurant before...

Me and my girl friend walked in and where not greeted at all, after standing by the bar for a few minutes confused I asked someone who kinda looked like he worked there if we could be seated. After a distainful look he showed us to a table and brought us chips and salsa. Then about five minutes go buy and someone in passing asks us if we would like anything from the bar, we didnt and he continued to ignore us. Fifteen minutes of being ignored by the staff go by, when I become livid and yell at the nearest staff to take our order and bring us something to drink. The girl who responded to my call takes us our order and brings us something to drink and was not seen again. So we eat, the food is good, and when we finish we are still being ignored. I then have to get up from the table leave the room and start asking staff if we can have a box and a check. One man brings us a box and then leaves, while we wait for the check. Again after twenty minutes I have to get up leave the room and find the same man again who is standing in a different room LITERALLY DOING NOTHING and ask for the check again. Finally after ten more minutes we are brought our check and leave.

I have never left a restraunt, before this, frustrated and the process by which I had to get my food and pay.

I would recommend to anyone to not eat here, it isn't worth the hassle of dealing with...
