Domino's Pizza — Restaurant in City of Amsterdam

This is a great Domino's location. Rarely do I have any problems with my order, and on the occasion I do it's usually something very minor (think garlic dipping sauce instead of marinara).

Ratings breakdown: Food - 4 stars. It's good pizza. It's not a Michelin Star pizza, but it's certainly edible.

Service - 4 stars. Again, it's pizza. I've only ordered delivery maybe twice and other than waiting between 45 minutes to an hour to get it - which I think is normal for any kind of delivery - there were no issues.

I have done both curbside pick up and simply walked in. Curbside pick up is a little, say, hacked. Once you get the notification that your order is ready and you check-in, they are supposed to have two minutes to get the order out. Sometimes it says you get a free pizza if they are not out within that two minutes; sometimes it doesn't. Either way, what's stopping them from simply stopping the timer without bringing out the order?

Walking in is very simple. Although the space is tiny, there's hardly more than, say, two people in there at any given time. And this leads us to the final category, atmosphere.

Atmosphere - two stars. Going back to what I said about the place being tiny, there's really nothing exciting about the inside. The employees are usually busy doing everything (I have seen one person making pizza, taking calls, and handling pick ups) and at times it can be a touch loud as they do their thing.

Overall, I believe this is the best chain pizza restaurant in the area. Employees are nice even when they are slammed. Orders are correct 99.9% of the time. And it's still hot when I get home to enjoy it.

If I could give zero stars I would. I've never had any issues before but now ALL OF A SUDDEN they have a new "policy" that you can't order online and pay for it unless the card holder is there with the card and ID upon delivery. This is a blatant lie, I literally order food and have it delivered to my son who lives out of state and have NEVER had this issue. My husband isn't home and he ordered dinner for the kids as I recently had surgery and he's not home, they charged his card THEN called to make sure my husband would be here with the card and ID, I explained he wouldn't be and if I could have him send a picture of it that I could show them and show my ID as well and they said no. Meanwhile my husband has ordered from here several times in the last 2 weeks while I'm healing. Then they tell me I'll have to deal with my bank about the charge THEY charged to his account. Rude and disrespectful service doesn't even begin to explain the treatment I just received because of their new "policy" which by the way is NOT listed anywhere on their site. So I'd highly suggest you don't even bother with these people. I know I'll never order...

Pizza is great, friendly atmosphere. Can’t beat the Carry Out $6.99 specials. The Chicken,Bacon, Ranch sandwiches is my fav. The kids love their cheesey bread and garlic parm knots.

Anytime I have guests and we have Dominoes they are pleasantly surprised on how good it is. The spinach & feta cheesy bread is always great, and the Pacific Veggie always gets the most comments. They can’t believe how good it is This Dominoes is the BEST.

AND IT JUST GOT BETTER! -Tonight I ordered a NY Style pizza for carry out. The battery in my car died. 😡 Called the store, apologized, and asked for delivery if they could. The associate said sure. And then took the delivery charge off and wished me a better weekend. Customer Service! You just don’t see this many places anymore. But Domino’s on Market Street sure as hell has it! Thanks ladies’
