Sad potatoes. That’s what I want you to take away from my experience. I had an omelette which was tasty, the bacon looked perfect. These poor excuse for home fries.. nope sad af. These are the kinds of foods people like us get made fun of for. Here’s a heap of roughly chopped potatoes, we didn’t bother to add any seasoning (have you not heard of paprika?! Garlic?) nope just salt. They still look raw, they’re supposed to be crisp golden brown, they’re just shy of mashed potato in color. Add onions, cooked until crisp golden brown. Matter fact, here, I Googled it for you: Home fries are a dish of cubed or diced potatoes that are fried until crispy on the outside and tender in the middle. They can be served chunky or skinny, and are often cooked with onions and bell peppers. Here's an overview of the cooking process: Parboil Potatoes are parboiled to partially cook them through. This can be done by boiling, baking, steaming, or microwaving. Fry The potatoes are fried in butter and/or oil until golden brown and crispy. Send that to your cook who operates without seasoning. This is what other cultures and races mean when they say white people don’t season their food. Stop doing this to us, some of us enjoy seasoning!

Had breakfast here and got the Skillet. It's 2 eggs, with veggies and sausage over potatoes and a side of rye toast. The rye toast here was good in comparison to another local diner. The scrambled veggies/sausage mix was underwhelming. It just felt like they threw it in a pan, sauteed it a couple of times, and poured it on the plate, I got clumps of onions and peppers bunched together. It wasn't mixed well. Potatoes were overcooked and did not have a crisp to it. Eggs were perfectly over medium. Coffee was good. So food overall is average, not spectacular, but it was what is expected for an average diner. The apple pie was good, but it is served cold. I prefer it warm with ice cream. Nice thick crust and classic apple filling. Service was average, friendly service. Although it was only 2 servers running on a Monday holiday, they managed well and made sure we had what we needed. Ambience, interior, clean and bright, somewhat modern/old school diner. The view was beautiful, it was sunny when we went, so that helped create a relaxing and gorgeous breakfast. I would definitely say it's a great spot for catching up with friends and family. Great view, good service and average food. I would come back again for sure!

My experience here was pretty unpleasant overall. The view is gorgeous but that's about the only good thing going for Park Diner. First and most importantly are the prices. These prices are way too high for the portion sizes being served, and the quality of the food being served. Second, this place feels less like a diner run by mom and pop and more like a place run by college students. It's clear in the menu and the execution on the dishes. The dish I ordered was supposed to be a grilled turkey sandwich - and it was, in a way... They took a stack of turkey luncheon meat and placed in on the flat top grill lol! luncheon meat isn't designed to be cooked this way so naturally it made the sandwich a soggy wet mess. Third, my waiter was not the best. Took her 10 minutes to bring me a tiny cup of coffee that was only half full, and the coffee inside it was as green as the water outside. I had to send it back and get a soda which was flat and unpleasant. 2 stars because there is a vast menu selection. If they could get their portion size versus price situation under control, and execute with a little more skill - this place could be something so much more.
