Just Breathe. — Local services in City of Binghamton

This is the first time I ever visited a cannabis dispensary. The people working there were very nice and courteous. I bought three 3.5 gram containers of flower. Two were from Florist Farms at $54 each and the other was from Back Home Farms at $44. The sales person was very friendly and helpful but he seemed to be pushing the Florist Farms products and only showed me the Back Home Farms product when I was inquiring about a specific strain that Florist Farms didn't have (gorilla glue). All three showed 3.5 grams on the label. However, when I ground the flowers up and put them in identical sized pill bottles the Back Home Farms seemed to have about 30% more product based upon the volume it occupied in the bottle versus the other two. The flower also seemed to be much fresher and stickier than the Florist Farms products. The Florist Farms buds were smaller and drier. So I don't know what's up with that and why Florist Farms is so much more expensive. So all I can say is buyer be ware of pricing and make sure you check out all product lines. Better yet, grow your own when legal and save...

They are new.

The prices for the legal market in NY are not exactly competitive at this point. At least not when compared to the "grey market" options. They're closer to the Native Americans, but before tax. That is not the fault of Just Breathe. Once NY gets its sh*t together and opens up farm licenses, this should improve. For now, we are paying for the peace of mind that what we are consuming has at least been tested to some extent. As a biochemist, that is worth the price.

However, the "service people" or "bud tenders" did not have as much information about the cartridges as I would have liked. When asked about distillates vs. full spectrum, I was told with confidence that one of the options was definitely distillate (carts from Ayrloom), but an "I think" Jaunty vapes is full spectrum. This may be a problem stemming from the manufacturers, in which case I would say they need to be more clear about their product, but I suspect it is because this is all new.

After not having the best experience at Sacred Bloom, I decided to drive out of my way after work to check this place out. The Gentleman that checked me in at the front door was friendly, informative and definitely gave a great first impression. After that I was helped out by both Friday and the manager Morgan. Not only did Friday take the time to answer all of my questions, but genuinely was interested in making sure the product I got was tailored to me. He went as far as asking Morgan her opinion on products for me. (Both product recommendations were very similar!) And Morgan herself was an absolute gem.
