This review is coming from the perspective of a DoorDash driver as well as a customer. The chicken is great, always something to look forward to when you need a quick fix of fried chicken. The service however and the way they operate at this particular site is below average at best. What is it with this location always forgetting chicken sandwiches for some reason on online orders like DoorDash or door dash? As a DoorDash driver I see what their approach is with online orders, their focus is the customer that is standing right in front of them regardless of how long ago the online order was placed. This seems unfair to me especially if the online order is already paid for. They tend to mark the order ready for pick up even though it hasn’t even been started when I get there to pick it up, thereby giving the illusion to DoorDash that they have done their job and that it is the delivery person who is holding things up. I went there yesterday to pick up a DoorDash order that I needed to deliver. Not surprisingly they had a quality assurance inspector there yesterday kind of coaching them through what needs to be done: They apparently did not have the order ready yet, So I thought I would order a two piece meal for myself while I wait. When the DoorDash order was finally ready they handed it to me along with my two piece meal. I informed them that I hadn’t paid for my two piece meal yet and that I needed to pay for it. This apparently worked out well for me because the quality assurance person said “it’s OK don’t worry about it this one is on the house”. Woo hoo free dinner I thought. I proceeded to deliver the DoorDash order that was 10 miles away from Popeyes and as I return to Popeyes to prepare for another DoorDash pick up the customer contacts me to inform me that I forgot three chicken sandwiches. I apologize to the customer for the inconvenience and informed him that he needs to contact DoorDash support as this is the correct procedure for these types of situations. Not shortly there after DoorDash contact me and ask ME if I can go pick up the chicken sandwiches and deliver them back to the customer. I agreed to complete this task provided that DoorDash would compensate me for the mistake that Popeyes made. After all, this is a 10 mile drive to the customer site (20 miles if you consider me returning back for another order). I proceed to make a McDonald’s pick up that was scheduled, immediately followed by the pickup for the Popeyes missing items and run it back to the customer. No word yet from DoorDash if I will be paid for the travel and time invested in delivering the items that Popeyes screwed up, but I digress. The bottom line is, Popeyes chicken is great but this particular location needs a lot of work, It makes sense again that there was a quality assurance person...
Read moreMy husband & I were there 4/25/23. The wait time for our food was 25 minutes but the food was good. The problem was that they were VERY short staffed. there were only three employees, two women & one male, plus the manager(boss). The two women employees were arguing back & forth about who was actually working & the woman up front taking the orders was telling the second woman that she was,"Lazy" to which the second woman replied, " I'm doing everything" Then there was a man who came in to pick up an order to be delivered & the worker advised him "We are out of sweet tea is there anything else they want? The delivery person said he hadn't got an answer back yet" so the woman said," We have coke products." & then said," I'll just give them a coke then" & then at that moment the delivery driver said he had heard back from the person who called the order in & they wanted a different drink." The other female heard this & yelled at the worker that " You just can't put anything you want for the drink until you hear back from the customer" Also during all of this the two female workers were continuing to argue back & forth about who should be doing what & who was doing the most work . The male worker at the drive through window kept having to go outside to give people their orders as the line was backed up & people were asked to pull forward & their order would be out. Also as we were still waiting on our order there were two incidents where people came back to report their order was incomplete. While all of this was going on the manager was somewhere in the back & was nowhere to be found during all the arguing & comotion between the employees & this was being observed by not only my husband & I but by the several walk in customers. Read moreThis store has single handedly given me my top 5 worse experiences at a fast food restaurant. All 5 of those spots go to this store every single time I come here I hope it would be better than the last but alas it never is. I figure maybe these people are having a hard day or it's a shift change but that's not the case. It doesn't matter what time of day I go or what day of the week it is something is always wrong. But today took the cake I get there at about 1040 I being ordering before I can finish my order I'm cut off and told to come to the window instead. I wait another 5 to 6 minutes at the window to tell them I didn't get a chance to finish ordering. I finish telling them my order then proceed to wait an additional 10 minutes for my food. I get my food and begin to drive away I have my wife check it and what do you know I only got 2 out of the 6 things I ordered everything else was someone else's order. I ordered a chicken sandwich plain sandwich was not plain ordered a kids meal didn't get a kids meal or any of the sides for my main combos. I come back to the drive through to explain what had happen only to wait another minutes before I'm even greated. I explain to them what's wrong and they promise to make everything the way I ordered it then while I'm waiting the cashier told me someone tried to through my receipt away so I couldn't get my food remade. Cashier had to dig in the garbage to find my receipt and confirm its mine. I wait maybe another 15 minutes to get my new food where again my sandwich was not plain and my 3 year old couldn't get a toy with his meal. I belive this will be the last time I come here and I advise anyone thinking of coming here to just go to KFC or hell drive to Chick-fil-A if you can.
