Hunan hut — Restaurant in City of Binghamton

With the opening of Hunan Hut, the search for bourbon chicken draws to a close. An oddly lacking dish in the area, the chicken used is thick cut cubes and tender, drizzled in a sweet sauce with bell pepper chunks and broccoli. The food ordered is made hot and fresh with a little bit of wait time when orders start stacking up in person and for delivery. The seasoning is on the light side, but flavorful so you are not overwhelmed with sweet or salty. The service is top notch with the person running front of house being patient and polite. Seating area is dimmer than would be seen in photos with other elements of ambiance and atmosphere likely to be filled in time as the grand opening progresses. I love Hunan Hut! The food is terrific whether you are looking for something simple and refreshing or a spicier, more complex dishes indicated on the menu in red! The offerings in both domains are expansive. The lunch special is very complete and SUCH a good deal. I ordered lunch and dined in. Pork egg rolls were fresh and tasty as we're the fried wonton. This is under new management so not sure if atmosphere updates will happen, but this was probably the best chinese food that I have had in a long while here in Binghamton.
