Simply Crepes Craft Kitchen Canandaigua — Restaurant in City of Canandaigua

I am a local and over the last 2 months i have had at least 6 maybe 7 simply strawberries and OMG when its on, it is hands down the best crepes I have ever had it even has the 2nd and 3rd place as well,they are that good!!! The problem i seem to have is consistency take for example today I get a simply strawberry and its amazing and looks amazing and i can tell its more than likely going to taste the way it should but i ordered one two days ago and got hardly any cream and it affects the consistency and flavor of the whole meal, it was by no means nasty or inedible just dry. the time before that it was amazing but the time before that... you see where im going with this,consistency. I almost always get my food to go and when I call up only one extremely energetic nice skinny long hair gentleman(I didn't get his name sorry) asks for my phone number so i can get rewards. I will even ask when I call do you want my phone number and the host will say no we got you and there extremely nice all of them but if you want a tip for getting my togo food on top of the 3% tip i gave the kitchen staff thats on my receipt so simply crepes can pay them a competitive wadge then take my number so I can at least get a couple bucks off after my next 3rd or 4th order. I will say though if I have ever called the store with a problem the manager is spot on for helping they dont treat you like your trying to get something for free or get offended when you call and say it didn't taste right they are fast to help and make right any problems i have ever had and I cant say enough good things about them. .☆☆☆☆I always get the same thing simply strawberry crepes. Menu changed since I was last there in 2028. Used to be 2 or 3 shrimp dishes. Now only 1, and that is a substitution. The curry dish can be made with tofu, chicken, or shrimp. When we came in there was a woman making the grapes wearing gloves. At some point she left and the hostess started making them while doing other duties and she didn't wear gloves. She heated up a crepe for a little boy and then folded it and would put her plam on it to see how warm it was but she never washed her hands, and she did this at least 5 different times. I think she also warmed my crape with her dirty hands 😞. I saw her put the crepe that she folded on the dish for the little boy but since my crape was filled I can't say for certain that mine was the other one she touched up but since no one else was ordering at the time, we got there after 2:00 so the lunch crowd had cleared out, and since my food came out shortly after she took that crepe off, I'm assuming that it was mine. Food tasted good, especially the chicken cordon blue but I was not thrilled about unwashed hands on my food. I didn't make a fuss because I didn't want to make them mad since they were preparing my food, and I was hungry so I had to hope that the little boy and I would be ok. 😞 I did eat it all. Thursday night a friend of mine and I went to Simply Crepes Canandaigua for dinner and were very disappointed with it. We complained to our waitress Ashley the food was cold and her suggestion was to put it back under the heat lamps…. HEAT LAMPS ARE WHERE YOUR FOOD DIES! Not to mention the chicken was already dry. Cooking the dish more would have been worse. She said she didn’t know why it was cold and I told her poor timing from the chef. Then she proceeded to tell us they’ve had this issue before….. idk but maybe me having 20 years in food service has me a little uptight that NOTHING was offered other than putting it back under the heat lamp. Shit all they needed to do was remake it. My friend didn’t even eat the meal (& we still paid for it)…. Fast forward now two days later & i notice my AirPods are missing. Pull up the location & guess where? Simply Crepes. I call the restaurant and Shelly answered the phone and went to look. Then I assume she went and grabbed Ashley to tell me they didn’t find them and blah, blah, blah. As I’m talking to her she’s being very dismissive and tried rushing me off the phone and eventually hung out on me. I was even being nice even after my experience from the other night.
