Frosted — Restaurant in City of Cortland

cupcakes are pretty good. the halfmoon cookie was horrendous. The frosting on it tasted and looks like when i try to make frosting from scratch and fail miserably. grocery store bought halfmoon cookies are 100x better. Hopefully they take this criticism and change whatever recipe they are using. I think the issue is too much sugar because the frosting looked a little translucent.

The rugelachh , specifically the chocolate, had full unmelted chocolate chips in it. its supposed to be soft on the inside and the chocolate should be melted. I consider this a war crime from the jews in this nation. I HOPE they change their recipe. the raspberry one was fine but it wasnt great. I think they need to make a new recipe for both of them. It had crystalized sugar on the outside which is a no no (at least for me personally). The chocolate one was also quite dry. I went in the morning so its possible it was a batch from the day before. this was the morning of 9/8/2023.

I used to make all the cakes for birthdays, but have been so busy the last year that I resorted to buying. Frosted has allowed me to still be creative, and design each cake to whomever I’m celebrating. Most of my ordering has been done through the FB Messenger App, and I never have an issue. They answer my questions, let me send a pic of my idea, and accommodate the changes and color themes I’m looking for. If they have questions they never hesitate to ask and are very prompt with details to ensure they make a perfect gift for my loved ones. They use great products in their goods, and the icing is on point. We have never been disappointed in our purchases through Frosted. The staff is equally amazing! Courteous, well spoken, and warm welcoming. The store has been clean and bright every time I’ve been in. The displays are well lit, clearly labeled, set up, and easy to choose from. Great gal that runs this place. I've ordered many birthday cakes through Frosted & other party treats. She is so kind and the products are delish. Try the super sugar cookie if you ever need a sugar boost. Its delish.

She did it again!! She made a beautiful cake and the gentleman who waited on me carried the cake to my truck after giving me a free cup of fresh coffee.
