Off The Hook — Restaurant in City of Dunkirk

Couple of weeks ago went for a drive with my son and his fiancé and fortunately found ourselves at 16 Central Ave in Dunkirk, NY. The Boardwalk Market has a nice selection of small eateries to cater to just about every palate! It was lunch time and we decided to try Off The Hook as my son and I both love fish / seafood What a treat!!!! The food was delicious and the seafood nachos to die for!! My son’s fish was great and the street tacos that my future daughter in law ordered were scrumptious. Not much seating inside but there is seating outside , it was a beautiful day, so we ate and people watched!! The atmosphere was extremely comfortable and the wait staff excellent . Tonight was the second time I have ordered from here and again it was phenomenal. The food is amazing, the seafood tastes fresh, the drinks are amazing, and both times I’ve called for a pickup and the person on the phone is always so kind and so patient and helpful. You will not be disappointed. I’ve got shrimp chowder, walking seafood taco, jumbo shrimp cocktail, I think some kind of shrimp either burrito/enchilada thing, a Bloody Mary and this phenomenal blueberry pomegranate margarita (I called and asked if they had yummy frozen alcoholic beverages and they mentioned this delicious drink!). The food is so good, service is so great, and fast, and they constantly have phenomenal mouth watering specials they share on Facebook in addition to an awesome menu. I WILL be ordering...

Great little place on the dock in Dunkirk New York. very small to eat inside, So your best option is really to grab a meal and sit outside on one of the patio benches or tables, or even take it down to the pier. while the wait was long, it's simply because they have a lot of business in a very small restaurant. The food however is delicious, The server was very friendly, and the phone kept ringing off the hook lol. Get it?
