Patrick's — Restaurant in City of Elmira

My wife and I came down to celebrate our friends birthday with a small group of people and it was a great time. The bar is as cozy inside as it looks from the outside... lots of wood, a real "pub feel" is what I thought. The staff was very friendly and quick. The food was delicious, we all shared a bunch of apps with our drinks and had a great time as the band played at a reasonable volume levelOne last thing, that I think is important, the men's room was very clean and taken care of. This was at midnight on a Saturday too, very busy. It's hard to keep the restrooms clean, no doubt, but Patrick's is cleary making an effort!...

Bar tender was rude to me and my partner when we walked he instantly made comments about our appearance prompting everyone sitting at the bar to turn and looked at us (not sure what was wrong with how we looked we were both just wearing casual clothes and walked in quietly on a random weekday night looking to grab a drink and bite to eat)

It was a very awkward and uncomfortable encounter that we just turned around and left as we didn't know how else to handle it. Super disappointed as this bar is walking distance from my new house, but I cannot support a place where the employees are so...

This place sucks. Tried to order food at 9pm, kitchen hours are posted until 10. Lazy staff finds a reason why they can't do their job. Never given an option to order take out food, told to go elsewhere that's still serving food. Staff was in no way rude but they never offered any option but to leave. We were not rude nor did we protest when we were asked to leave. Owner's reply on makes it seem like we were unreasonable and bringing a daycare in after 9. I would have had no issue waiting outside for our food. Complete waste of time coming to this hole...
