The food was alright. I was excited because of the reviews but honestly was not worth the hype or the cost. Our food came to almost $80 for French toasts, bacon eggs and 2 loaded breakfast hash with 2 coffees. They did mess the meal up we had asked for scrambled eggs and they gave us fried eggs. I had told the server and she just looked at me and said “ok i can get u scrambled” but her tone and demeanor was giving oh well what do u want me to do about it. There was no apology or anything. The French toasts were soggy before adding syrup but the kids didn’t complain. It was cold and wet but there wasn’t any indoor seating available so we sat outside. The vibe and atmosphere just was off. Like the hospitality wasn’t there or anything. They didn’t check up on us after bringing the food to make sure it was to our liking. It was our first experience and most likely the last. They don’t have kids menus and when we first got here we didn’t know if we had to sit first or order or how they operate here. There’s no sign that says welcome or come in and just a door with operating hours. So if you do come here you seat yourself place your order inside and then make sure you have everything before sitting back down because they won’t check on u. Not worth the money, plus they upcharged me almost $2.00 for caramel flavor in my coffee but not informed of just reflected on the...

Full disclosure: I have actually been here twice. Once for breakfast with my husband. And then a week later for lunch solo. First, the atmosphere is so warm and welcoming! You feel at home right away and comfortable asking questions about any item. My first trip for breakfast was awesome. I ordered the waffle "sandwich" which was absolutely delicious, as well as very filling. The husband ordered a breakfast sandwich and pronounced it the best he's ever had. I don't know how it's possible, but the bacon is also better than any other breakfast place I have been. We each ordered a muffin and actually ended up switching - I loved the banana chocolate one! Homefries also seasoned and cooked perfectly. My solo lunch was the Shrimp Burrito. I asked about the spice level, was reassured the heat was tolerable, and it absolutely was spot on. It was served with a side (I chose the macaroni salad - definitely recommend). The burrito was HUGE (in the best way possible). I really could have eaten half and brought the other half home. It was full of shrimp and filling and perfectly cooked. All in all, a great new addition to the Glens Falls restaurant scene and to Warren Street. *A third trip had me try yet another delicious lunch - photo included of the "Dad French Dip". Another outstanding choice along...

Was hunting for some good real food which is more and mire challenging to find and stopped here. First of all strange location with only 2 parking spots...one handicapped! So they get no stars for parking .....I ordered a cup of coffee that came in a nice mug w free refills and was very good. I had the shrimp and grits and was really disappointed....it was a square of deep fried gits like a chunk of dry cornbread ...w 4 shrimp drowned in some smokey greasy marinade and a handful of pea shoots dropped on top. I did not like the grits ..dry and little flavor not creamy and cooked right...hardly any shrimp ...4 ...med shrimp that just tasted like liquid smoke ...the greasy smokey sauce and copious amounts of Parmesan which did not seem to even go with the dish was all I could taste ....it was 14 d for the shrimp and grits....I will go back for a coffee maybe. And the ambiance was kind of cold...and the place remonded me of a kiosk in a mall...a pop up place. My palate definitely was...

First let me say that consistency with a restaurant is a key factor to making an honest review. Since my husband and I have frequently had breakfast at Scratch Kitchen I felt it was time to make my review. The food has always been spot on! The shrimp and grit cake were amazing! My husband wasn’t sure the burrito would be filling, however he was wrong. He shared how you can taste the unique flavors of the burrito. If you are looking for a typical breakfast- keep driving as the high quality of cuisine and unique combinations of the food is what you will get here! Yes, the place is small, however that’s what gives it a cozy atmosphere. We enjoyed each bite!
