Hungry and it was time for dinner, so we decided to give Chili's a try since it's been years since I've been to one. We got into the restaurant and realized there was still happy hour at the bar till 7pm. What's even better? There's free chips and salsa! Definitely a no brainer.
For 10 mins, we sat at our booth and it took forever for the server to realize we were sitting there and to take our orders. It wasn't until we flagged one down did they realized we were there. But, after the fact, they were nice and attentive. Hence, the minus one star.
We ordered from the 2 for $20 menu and the food turned out to be more than enough. Having already had the free chips and salsa, the deal also included another appetizer. We ordered the Crispy Onion & Jalapeno Stack, which turned out a tad bit on the greasy side. But, it tasted great with the happy hour priced beer (about $5 for an import draft) and when dipped in ketchup (comes with ranch dip). For the entrees, we had the Chicken Fajitas and the Mango-Chile Tilapia. The Chicken Fajitas, which came in a sizzling plate, were nice and light with just the right amount seasoning and didn't feel greasy at all. It wasn't dry, but it wasn't really moist either. When combined with all the stir fried bell peppers and onion, salsa and lettuce in the hot tortilla, i had a perfectly complemented chicken fajita. The Mango-Chile Tilapia was nice and light as well. The only gripe about that entree were the broccoli that came with it was overcooked to the point where it tasted like mush.
All in all, this place does have its hits and misses. Hopefully, I'll get a better experience the next time...

Server Mia. Grade A+ She is one of the BEST servers! She is so nice that brings me lemon for my hot water WITHOUT me even mentioned. Moreover, she is very attentive and caring. We will be back because of her.

Read moreI and a friend placed 2 Chili's To Go orders with a pick up time of 2:30 PM. We placed our orders hours ahead of the pick up time. When we arrived a few minutes after the pick up time, we stood at the counter and waited for service. 4 servers greeted us & said someone would be with us in a moment. 10 minutes passed and still no service. I saw our orders on the table waiting for us. One person came from the kitchen and asked if we have been helped. He began to place the ordered in bags & then the a lady, who I assume is Mel, since that is what my receipt says, came up and took over. She went to the cash register & rang up the orders. My receipt says 2:51 PM. She then walked into the kitchen back and forth. She finished placing our orders in bags, went back to the kitchen. Then she finally gave us the food & didn't even say bye. She gave us our food & walked away. The food was warm, not hot. The egg-rolls weren't even cut in half, so in order to share the appetizer, we had to cut them. The weren't crispy, but under cooked and chewy. I felt like we were invisible. Never order To Go from there again. I ended up being 5 minutes late...
