Read moreI had heard about this roast duck restaurant from others and decided to drive a long way to try it. I arrived around 4 PM, only to be told the restaurant opens at 5 PM. There was no hospitality or information provided, especially about needing to reserve roast duck 50 minutes in advance. I waited until 5 PM, placed my order, and then was informed that roast duck requires a reservation and we’d need to wait another 50 minutes for it to be prepared.
There are several issues here: If the restaurant is closed in the afternoon, why does it show as ‘open’ in google maps? Why didn’t the staff inform us about the reservation requirement for roast duck when we arrived at 4 PM? The service was unprofessional and lacked courtesy, making the whole experience feel like a complete waste of time.

I got invited to a partner's family birthday dinner here and I gotta say, good choice. It's similar to Sichuan food, a lotttt of spices and seasoning used and it. was. delicious. We ordered a lamb dish, tasted amazing, I couldn't stop eating it even though my mouth was numb and on fire. The meat was tender, they were thinly sliced so the texture was perfect. Also quite enjoyed their string beans dish. I also attempted at the mapo tofu, great use of silken tofu, but unfortunately I was at my spicy limit that I wasn't able to eat much of it.
It was also nice of the staff and cook to specifically make a simple egg fried rice for the little kids (they're not big on the spiciness).
