I went to La Choza this morning to eat 4 eggs and 4 bacon. That's all I was in the mood to eat. . Prior to ordering I first ask the gentleman how much would it cost to order 4 eggs and 4 bacon? He appeared confused. I then asked him in Spanish. He was still confused.

Read moreBest Mexican food in the Hacienda Heights & La Puente area. It's hidden in a not so pretty shopping center, but don't let the exterior fool you. They have a reasonably priced, really good lunch buffet, during the week and a very good brunch buffet on the weekends. The standard beans & Mexican rice are really good. My favorite dish is the molcajete with carne asada, chicken and chorizo served with bell peppers, nopales (cactus) and onion in a boiling red sauce. I usually ask for extra nopales and less meat. They also have a good selection of beers and alcoholic drinks to go with your meal. I'd highly recommend this place to all my friends and all my friends, who have tried it, have raved about how good...
