Very BAD First time experience. The manager was very rude. I ask her for status of our order, and gave us a lecture on how the beeper works. Didnt even bother checking our actual order until i told her. I ask to talk to manager and she said she herself was the manager and wasnt even apologetic when we told her, she was rude. I dont mind waiting cause i know things can happen but being rude and not even being apologetic after telling her she was rude. THAT IS ULTIMATELY A BIG PROBLEM. She kept on talking over us, and even one point threw spoons and cups behind her to the ground very LOUD!!! We were waiting long so we wanted to ask about status of our order in case it got lost. Which can happen, if it did, we would be waiting forever. But she didnt bother helping and even questioned us "you didnt wait that long" which is not the point of matter. She checked, and confirm that we were really waiting for long, but she didnt need to that. Only Bad customer service would do that!!! SUCH A BAD ESTABLISHMENT especially being as a first customer. We told, it was our first time and she was very stuck up and rude and doesnt care for the customers at all. Not...
Read moreNewly opened now in the Industry/Rowland Heights area which is surprisingly not as crowded as I thought. Their specialty is taro balls (boba balls made from taro) and taro smoothie/drinks. They are very popular in Taiwan and are just getting their feet into the US market. I tried everything on my recent visit and they tasted great, however there are a few problems I am hoping they can fix:
You can order from the counter and also touch-screen. I believe the store wants most to order from the touch-screen but there are no options to choose the level of sweetness and amount of ice in your drinks.
Behind the counter there are no posted menus, only paper ones but limited prints so if you don't know how to navigate their touch-screen or technically-challenged then you won't know what to order
Price is cheaper compared to another taro specialty drink store but portions are a lot smaller. Also the taro balls had no flavors if you get shaved ice or dessert, however the taro drinks are really delicious.
The taiyaki is really good! It's a taro place that makes really...
one of the WORST boba shops i’ve experienced, avoid at all costs. there’s so many good ones in the area with GOOD SERVICE
drinks: tangerine green tea 50% sweet: 2/10 way too sweet, would NOT recommend; it has a sweetened tangerine peel honey type thing at the bottom and they add sweetener ON TOP of that
oolong boba milk tea 70% sweet: 4/10 the milk tea itself is mid, just very basic but the boba is ROCK HARD and could potentially cause choking hazards
service: 0/10
as if the drinks weren’t disappointing enough on its own.. the SERVICE was even WORSE……
i went back in to ask the employees there asking if they had forgotten to reduce the sugar content in the tangerine drink to 50% as it was sweeter than the oolong milk tea with 70% sugar; the employee very unkindly explained they add sweeteners on top of the already sweet drink and when I asked if they could dilute it for me or to remake it, they refused which was so rude considering it was a $8 drink.. just walk across to sunright or 3cat this place isn’t worth ur...
