PLEASE SEE THE HOURS ON MY PHOTOS. GOOGLE MAPS HAS WRONG HOURS!!
My husband and I, have a great relationship with The King..of Crawfish. It is our to go place on our date night or before going to some event where we must not smell like we just had a restaurant marathon. There is a very slight wait in the weekends when this place gets super packed, but we never had to wait more than a few minutes. Let's start with the crew: very knowledgeable and friendly staff, who are making sure 110% you'll receive a great service. Even if they seem young they are all very respectful and polite, with a great positive attitude which invites us to keep coming back every time. A while ago we had a chance to meet the owner and since then, whenver we visit the place and he is around, he always says hi, a nice gesture I would say. Now, let's go over the food. We tried many items on the menu, and we were never disappointed BUT our favorites remain: Ridgeback Shrimp (SEASONAL), Fresh Oysters ( from our beloved WA State), Shrimp Basket and Catfish Basket, and let's not forget about the 3 flavors Mixed Seafood (clams, shrimp, corn, potatoes, ridgeback or crawfish). We got almost the whole menu :) The steamed mix is very spicy even for a mild, but if you say no spicy..then all you'd ever taste would only be the butter. So grab a beer and kill that bag with mild spiciness..you'll love it. The place has many TV, which makes me feel like I am in a Sports Bar, BUT it is not noisy where you can't have a conversation with your better half/partener/friend etc. There are a few parking spots in front of the restaurant but next door is Home Depot so you have many options in their lot. Go ahead and...
Read moreLooking for an alternative to the overly-hyped up BC, I found this place. When we arrived there was a large group/family that was getting ready to leave. The employees were quick to clean up and move the tables back as soon as they left. Then more people came in. It was a busy place but service was attentive and friendly. We ordered the #1 Combo $65-3 lbs of your choice of seafood (crawfish, clams, mussels, or shrimp) that comes with potatoes, corn, and sausage. I wanted medium and my son wanted spicy, our server said he'd split the order so we can each have our own bag according to our spice level. Now that is awesome service. The combo also comes with two drinks. We added to our order a pint of rice $3 and sweet potato fries $6. I love their King's special sauce and for me medium spicy was perfect to savor the food. We didn't order crawfish because they only had frozen ones. The seafood was fresh- the shrimp was humongous and juicy. They were as big as prawns. The place is located in a busy restaurant complex so parking can get crowded as...
Read moreI came to this joint because of the 4.6 star rating on google. But it was a total disappointment, it was the worst tasting crawfish I’ve ever eaten, nothing much else I can say, just, plain, bad! To add onto that, the corn was undercooked, I asked for a replacement, server gladly brought me some, still undercooked but better, edible. The crawfish had A LOT of fallen claws in the bag, way more claws than twice the number of my crawfish, taking up all the weigh, and once every few crawfish I’ll get one that‘s definitely been dead, and most of them do not have the bright moist yellow/orange colored custard in the head, and the intestines don’t come right out with a pull to the tail, all 3 are indications that the crawfishes were not alive and fresh! maybe that’s the reason for the sauce to be so bad, when too much bad crawfish is boiled together, ruins the whole flavor! For 13.99 a pound, this is not worth it! I feel sick! Wouldn’t eat it even if it...
