Dunkin' — Restaurant in City of Ithaca

I used to eat here every day. Literally every morning as i answer emails and work on my computer. Well, I was working there the other night (i typically work there in the morning but this was an unusual day)... but hadn't PURCHASED anything yet - I was planning to do so after i caught up on some emails. Likely would have gotten my usual: a bagel and iced coffee. Well, after a while, the manager (im told she's new) sent one of the lower-ranking employees to point out that i needed to either buy something or leave because my presence was considered "loitering". I politely told the low-ranking employee (politely because it was clearly not her fault) that her manager just cost the business my patronage -- I was one of their most regular customers at this Dunkin but this manager's brusk behavior has quite literally chased me away - Ithaca Bakery will gladly take my money. I was a loyal customer here EVERY DAY but i failed to buy things during a portion of my visit and they harass me... I give this ranking 2 stars (rather than 1) because the food is reasonable as is the coffee...

I also used to ignore the fact that half the employees here are very rude (because i liked the coffee) but this latest event has pushed me...

My fiance walked into the store to order and had one of the rudest experiences ever at a Dunkin. No one at the counter so she was waiting for someone to come over, which is fine. Then Onaleisha, or whoever the 40 year old from Boston is (only know that because she told it to my fiance), came over to the other register and stood there and didn’t say anything. Confused, my fiance goes over to the other register and this lady still doesn’t say anything, just stares at her while she leans on the counter. Thinking she did something wrong my fiance then asks if she’s able to order at the register to which the lady replies “that’s why I’m standing here”. My fiance replied “oh I was just expecting some sort of greeting” and she replied with “I’ve been up since 1 a.m. so I don’t feel like doing a song and dance for every customer”. The whole experience was just awkward and rude. I’m glad I’m from out of town so we never have to come back to this...

I usually come here and workers are always respectful and polite but today morning was the worst, I usually don’t have time to drink my chai latte through out the day at work which I asked today for light ice so it wont be watered down, I understand it will be given a bit less than usual but NOT close to half the cup. At first they filled the whole cup with ice which I reminded the lady I asked for light ice, The lady was being very disrespectful and nasty and was talking to me like I was her child, then she took the ice out and left my drink like this. My boyfriend got a regular iced latte which is the last picture and as you can see the ice is half the cup and I got more ice than him at first. I understand workers have a bad day too but that doesn’t give them the right for them to treat us like garbage. This is disappointing and hopefully it doesn’t...
