Tried going on a Friday at 10am...out of bagels(?). Gave it another shot the following week on a Thursday at 9am... limited bagels. With it being my first (well second) time here I found it very confusing why there was a shortage right at the beginning of the day. I was trying to examine the menu and the girls said it might not be accurate we are out of a few bagels and we have additional cream cheeses. As a first timer ordering from an incomplete menu the experience was not smooth. I kept saying do you have this or that. Honestly, that's kind of annoying and it was clear that it made the workers a little unsure themselves... checking this and checking that and not just being able to confidently take my order and answer my questions. And not that I really cared about the price... but why no prices anywhere to be seen? When I seen my total I wasnt even sure what cost what. $17 but what was the break down. I ordered: *-Bacon breakfast sandwich on a sesame bagel with the addition of plain cream cheese: there was no shortage of cream cheese that's for sure and it had a good flavor. The ratio of eggs and bacon was a little thin. All I really tasted was cream cheese with a hint of everything else. The bagel itself was interesting. A lot chewier and thinner than I anticipated but not the worst. It was better than the chain breakfast spots that's for sure. I would give the bagel another shot to taste it with a different combo- lunch option and/or with just cream cheese. *-Iced latte. Again they weren't sure if they could make it. I seen the flavor bottles sitting out so I could see they had quite a few more than listed on the menu. They weren't sure what non dairy milks were available. Again..not smooth. The latte was not great. Too much flavor shot. Tasting very artificial. The espresso did not really hit the spot either. Maybe consider trying it with less pumps of flavor (I think they did 5 or so) . Tbh I would probably just try the regular hot coffee next time. Overall: I enjoy going to local small businesses and having a bagel shop in the area is a plus. Breakfast sandwich is an upgrade from breakfast chain restaurants. I would get the breakfast sandwich again but with a tad less cream cheese. I want to check out the specialty cream cheeses next time/lunch options. I would pass on the Iced Latte and check out their regular coffee, which from reviews people seem to enjoy.

So the good: generous helping of awesome eggs and tasty bagels that may or may not taste like you expect (which is neither good or bad). The bad: sausage was non-existent taste wise. Very thin. And unless I took a picture I would have thought they forgot! Fairly expensive. I ordered just the bagel breakfast sandwich with no drink and it was over $9. While the service was very friendly they were fairly slow. The menu listed the sandwiches for breakfast and lunch and dinner but no prices and while they had drinks on counter to let you know what they had, again no prices. Also, they had coffee and espresso but not listed and no pricing! Overall, you'll be full with a lighter wallet. Not bad at all just not good. Update - Prices are now listed for sandwiches. But not for drinks.... Finally had lunch and it was good. Very tasty and filling. Drink selection is limited if you want a soda or something along those lines. All told, great tasting foods with sometimes limited selection on bagels. Which is fair after breakfast.

Had 20 minutes to spare late this morning...stopped in for my first time. I was instantly greeted at the counter by a friendly and helpful woman. I was looking for a breakfast sandwich and was given my many options. I opted for a sausage egg cheese on an everything bagel and added a cheddar jalapeño something cream cheese spread. I cant express how amazing of a sandwich this was. Half of it was enough for me and i saved the other half for a little later. I already cant wait to go back and try their otber bagels. [French toast bagel has me dreaming]. My order was ready in probably 5 to 7 minutes. Hot and fresh. Ive been stuck in a [insert popular local coffee chain] drive thru for 3 times that for a cold untoasted bagel sandwich and an attitude 😆. Great addition to Lockport which has really upped its food game over the recent years. Stop in and tell em i sent ya. Jk. Dont say my name, but stop in and see for yourself! 😋

I really wanted to like this place. I will write an honest review, I am not here to pile on.

Upon entering, I thought the place had potential, but it has an odd dual-use area on the other side of the establishment. Almost like a craft area of some sort, though it might have been a daycare--I don't know. The bagels looked promising, but the reality was that they were "bready," as though they were not boiled. I am quite sure they do not bake their own bagels, they bring them in from somewhere else. Selection was fine. The bulk cream cheese was a nice touch, but that was the beginning of where it just went sideways from a service standpoint.

See, when you order, they then will freshly pack the cream cheese. That's great, but if there are more than a few people in line, the servers get frustrated and it showed. A lot. Our server was downright rude, and my family is filled with restaurant experience, so it's not like we don't know what it's like. The layout is horribly inefficient behind the counter--no wonder they look like they want to stab you 7 times when you ask for a dozen. They also have this weird practice that they cut each bagel and toast it unless you ask for them not to. We do not toast our bagels, so that should have made it better, right? Well, ordering at a normal bagel shop this was not, and we would later find out why they toast the bagels as a matter of policy. "I wonder why they do that?"--walking out. Well, when we got back to our hotel, one member of my family said, "they toast them so you don't notice the bagels are stale." Calling them "stale" is a bit over the top, but I will tell you for sure they were not fresh by any measure.

I wish I liked this place, and I might have given them a pass if the servers weren't so God-awfully rude. This place has huge potential, really it does. The location is good, and the interior could be super cool if it were implemented well (without the dual-use area, or at least partition it off). The work area behind the counter really needs to be evaluated for efficiency--those workers are going nuts back there and the place wasn't even busy. But at the end of the day, you can't treat customers the way we were treated--usually we are very empathetic because we know how it is, but not this time. The pièce de résistance is that after I paid, I reminded the server that I ordered a coffee with room for cream--she went to the espresso machine rolling her eyes, signing loudly and began to make something at the barista. "Stop. Nevermind. I did not ask for espesso. I don't want my money back." I left.

My order was 6 plain and 6 everything bagels (untoasted) with several small tubs of cream cheese and a coffee (the latter I decided wasn't worth it). That's it. The way we were treated, it was as if we asked them to go to New York City to get them for us. I am sorry to say that I will...

10$ for a breakfast bagel?!? is insane... seems out of touch for lockport, this isn't manhattan. They also don't post prices on the menu board which I don't love. They are ALWAYS OUT of stuff, bagels etc. Making it so you can NEVER get exactly what you want. You have to concede to another bagel flavor or get a sandwich for still a steep price without avocado etc. The coffee here is never good. I don't think the workers actually know how to make different coffee drinks, it seems like they just guess and it tastes different or is a different temperature every time.

I like the kid play area they have but other than that, I wish the prices were more affordable I would come here more. I wish they did a better job stocking, especially on weekends. If it's a weekend morning before 10 and you are sold out of everything, that is a supply issue. I could understand if it was close to closing time, but they are always out of everything. I was especially irked last time I ordered extra cream cheese to-go. They gave me a 4oz dressing cup of cream cheese, when I looked at my receipt they charged me $5!!! for a "5oz" even though that is impossible for a 4oz cup and not what I was given. Last time I went here it says open on google, I got my kids out of the car to go up to the door just to see a sign they were closed for personal emergency, which I get things happen but overall continues the disjointed message they are always sending. I had to load all my kids back in the car then GO BACK to the coffee shop across the canal because they sell the bagels there and I went there first because the coffee at BD's is always off. If I go here again I'll have to have low expectations and stop tipping to offset the prices which I know a lot of people don't do anymore for counter...
