Did not care for my experience today at Downtown Bagels. Usually there is a very nice Italian guy running the place but I don’t know if the business changed hands or what but the service i received today was anything but friendly. The woman with the salt and pepper hair is rude and not customer friendly. She should not be at the counter taking orders. She didn’t even greet me and when i went to pay she didn’t even tell me the total and didn’t even say anything to me when giving me my change. Very unfriendly and rude! Then the bagels were old and stale, did not taste fresh at all. The bagels were well known for being fresh and have that crunch when you eat it but that was not the case. The bread was hard to bite down on and tasted like it was a day old. There were two guys cooking the food and it looked like one of them was being trained. Also, they kept slamming the door in the back like every 2-3 minutes which was super irritating. Will not be going back to Downtown Bagels in the future. Such a shame because it used to be a great spot...

Eggs and bacon were fine, although the egg was bland. We bought 2 bags of chips and they were out of date. Cashier was friendly and everything was moving fast and I was impressed by how the staff could run the register and work on the food at the same time. The total cost was much more than I have paid elsewhere. In my view, the food needs to be improved and prices need...
Read moreWhile the bagels are good, service was confused about the order. Ordered 6 plain and 6 mixed bagels in separate bags plus plain and garlic/onion cream cheese containers. Got the bagels, not the cream cheeses. Instead, got two more bagels with plain cream cheese. On top of that, THEY ONLY TAKE CASH. The order was written down and confirmed, cream cheese containers separate. A business that's Incorporated might want to consider opening up to the idea of debit/credit card purchases if they want to stick around......
