My mom, myself and my son went to enjoy a sit down meal after a long and stressful day! We did wait a few minutes to be seated, but when greeted by Jubilee we were greeted with a smile, and enthusiasm. When we were seated, she apologized ahead of time if there’s any delay because she was the only server that night and it was her first time! (I was impressed with that and overall she did an amazing job). She was attentive, professional and overall a pleasure. My son is Autistic and can sometimes be a little much but she was so accepting of him and went above and beyond to make him feel comfortable. All was well until we had our food dropped off by the manager (I forgot her name), when she came to the table there wasn’t even so much as a hello how’s everything, she quite literally rushed through setting plates on the table and left with out even asking if there was anything else she could get us! My mom and I both asked for over easy eggs and well the eggs were not cooked so we did send them back only to have them returned cooked but they gave us the same already cut eggs! Everything else after that went great until it was time to check out, I gave my mom my military ID to receive the discount that I have received every other time I’ve gone there, only to come out of the restroom to my mom telling me the discount is only on the service members meal( this is the first time I have ever heard this). Again we were dealing with the manager, the whole time she was smug and had an attitude. Honestly, To keep a customer happy it takes 2 more moments to add the discount to the entire bill and explain the policy going forward! Instead she had an attitude and was outright rude!
Just a little more, I’m sorry yea while the service member has served the family of that service member also sacrifices a lot often times taking over their life they left behind while deployed etc! They deserve the discount just as much as the member!
Lastly, this review has nothing to do with our server Jubilee, she was nothing short of awesome and deserves praise and a raise!

Read moreI go to IHOP for lunch all the time. Today I handed over my card to pay, and the server brought it back after a few minutes, saying that their system was having issues. I said "no problem, I have cash, just let me check my banking app to make sure the charge didn't go through." I checked and saw that my card was charged twice and refunded once, essentially working out that I did pay the bill. I was then told repeatedly that the charge did not go through, despite me showing both the server and the manager my banking app where the charge was clearly present. They informed me that the charge did not go through and that my bank would probably refund me the charge any minute. I waited and refreshed the app several times and showed them yet again that I had been charged. They refused to accept that, and told me I still needed to pay the bill. I asked why I had to pay for my meal twice, and wasn't given a clear answer. I asked if I would be refunded once they realized the charge went through, and they said yes. I left cash to pay for my meal (or should I say pay AGAIN, because I clearly already paid with my debit card) and then tried to find the manager to get contact information so I could call later to ask for my money back. Read moreIf I could give no star I would. The service here is HORRIBLE. I was seated 5-10 minutes after my arrival. My server came over 10 minutes later and took my order. Coffee, mango spritzer, chicken and pancakes. He returned 12 minutes later with the coffee carafe, a full mug of coffee with the filled saucer of half and half and sugar on top of the coffee mug (covering the coffee) and the spritzer. First of all, why would he bring me the coffee like that? Disgusting! Then I sat there waiting for my food 1hour and 1/2. A family of 4 came in the same time as me. Had their food and was ready to leave. A group of 3 and a baby, came in long after I did. Received their food. So many people came in and out after me and received service. But me, 1 person couldn’t. There wasn’t even a wait at the door, no line at all. This is and was unacceptable service. I even watched a show on Netflix while I waited. The server finally came over and said. “ I know you’ve been waiting a long time, your food will be out soon” Then he walked away. That was 5 minutes before i decided to leave.
