Taiwanway — Restaurant in City of Middletown

I’ve been to Taiwanway several times now, and every visit has been a wonderful experience. The first time I walked in, I was struck by how cozy and inviting the place feels—it’s warm, homey, and just makes you want to relax and enjoy your time there.

The staff have always been so friendly and welcoming, making each visit even more enjoyable. Over the times I’ve dined there, I’ve tried their braised pork rice and beef noodle soup, and they’ve both been consistently delicious. The flavors are rich and authentic, reminding me of comforting homemade meals. Their bubble tea is another favorite of mine—it’s perfectly crafted with just the right balance of sweetness and creaminess.

On one visit, I tried their house-baked desserts, and they’re absolutely worth it—fresh, flavorful, and a delightful way to end a meal. I’ve also ordered takeout a few times, and I’m impressed with how well they handle it. Drinks are always sealed securely (no spills!), and they include a sturdy silver spoon with the food, which is such a thoughtful touch.

As someone grew up in Taiwan I can say this Taiwanese restaurant/ cafe brought back a lot of my great childhood memories in Taiwan. The beef noodle soup here is great. The boba tea here is phenomenal. The hand made pineapple cake is one of the best pineapple cakes I have ever had. It’s for real that good. Decent prices with a few coffee and boba options to choose from, plus a few made-in-house pastries and desserts.
